Christians Need To Understand That God Sees Everyone Equally
(Passage: Luke 14)
Jesus Christ preached the hardest part of Christianity to his disciples and said,
“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after me cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:26-27).
Salvation Is A Personal Race
Salvation is personal, and it cannot be obtained through collective efforts. Nobody should seek an approval of another fellow before he or she turns to Jesus Christ. God requires everyone on earth to personally accept Jesus Christ, as his or her personal Lord and Savior. Anyone who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God shall be saved. However, a person who refuses to accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ shall be condemned in hell fire (John 3:18).
Some individuals have convinced themselves that they are more righteous than others. As a result, they feel entitled to God’s kingdom. God’s kingdom is for all. As long as you believe in Christ, then you are eligible. However, don’t forget that faith without works is meaningless.Click to tweet
Praying For Grace To Be Deeply Rooted In Christ
I understand that salvation is a personal journey; therefore, I confess my faith in Jesus Christ instantly. I accept him as my personal Lord and Savior, and I am determined to serve him throughout the days of my life. I also, confess my sins and repent from them. I ask God to enable me with the ability to remain faithful to him for the rest of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I have prayed. Amen.
