Christians Must Absolutely Trust God Only; Humans Are Fallible
(Passage: Luke 22)
Christians must understand that the only reliable and trust-worthy being is the Supreme God.
He is the only one that truly cares for you and won’t let you down in times of trouble.
The bible makes us understand that the heart of a man is deceitful and desperately wicked.
Judas Iscariot released himself for the devil’s use; he betrayed Jesus Christ with a kiss.
It is reported,
“And while He was still speaking, behold, a multitude; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him. But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” (Luke 22:47-48).
Human May Fail But God Never Fails
If a close associate like Judas Iscariot could betray Jesus Christ, who else should we trust? (Luke 22:47-48).
It is obvious that our present world has a problem with “Trust.” The world is full of hate and rage; acts of self-centeredness have dominated it from every side!
However, the followers of Jesus Christ still have hope in this present world; we have God’s love that prevails over evil!
We can still look up to God and some fellow believers. Meanwhile, no believer is expected to place absolute trust in a fellow human being.
Complete and absolute trust must be placed in God who remains infallible. God never fails even when people fail us.
A fellow human being may disappoint us, but God will never do!
Have you ever been betrayed? Ever wondered why someone you trusted fails you? Well, as humans, our expectations might not be met sometimes. Even Jesus experienced such with Judas Iscariot. The lesson, however, is that we should put our dependence on God. God never fails.Click to tweet
Dear God, please help me to place my absolute faith in you. Help me to love people, but let my absolute trust be placed on you. Let me look up to you for all my needs. I understand and believe that you will send me the necessary people to meet my needs at all times.
…Let my absolute trust be reserved in you at all times so that I can live successfully and happily on earth. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.
Remember: Our Trust Should Be Only In God
