Persecuted but not forsaken – Your reward is in heaven if you remain steadfast in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ! Children of God are encouraged to reflect on the Bible’s Book of Revelation that mentioned several times that saints will be persecuted during the end time for the sake of their faith in Jesus Christ.
If you are a child of God, your faith will be tested. You must determine not to allow anything to shift your faith in the sight of any opposition.
Unbelievers and those who have released themselves for devil’s use will persecute Christians. Some will be ignorant of their actions, but they will work to satisfy the desire of the enemy.
When talks on “Persecution”: Some believers would lose their lives, but their efforts will not go unnoticed in the presence of the Lord. They will be rewarded!
During the end time, the enemy will appear to be gaining an upper hand, but that won’t last. God, the most powerful one, will seize Satan’s power and stop his evil works.
Those who endure persecution to keep their faith will be rewarded in the end. Christ will rescue his saints – dead and alive.
People who have died for their faith in Jesus Christ will resurrect on the last day to enjoy an everlasting life with God in heaven.
Endure persecution, and be resolute in your faith.
God cares, and he will continue to care for those who remain firm during persecution.
John mentioned how God stopped Satan’s work in the Book of Revelation:
“Then I was given a measuring stick, and I was told, “Go and measure the Temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers. But do not measure the outer courtyard, for it has been turned over to the nations. They will trample the holy city for 42 months” (Revelation 11:1-2).
There are no other means of resisting the temptation than to be closer to God in reading his words and consistently pray. The word of God keeps the love of God afresh in our hearts. Also, we become stronger as we meditate in the word of God on daily basis.
A similar benefit of gaining strength in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ is to maintain a consistent attitude of prayers. The word of God states, “The prayer of the righteous ones avails much.”
Prayer strengthens our “inner-man”. It also invites the power and presence of God to dominate our lives.
Above all, remember that your faith in Jesus Christ worths more than gold!
Be Steadfast!
If you suffer for the sake of your love and services to God, be expecting that God will reward you back in multiple folds – Both in this life and in heaven also.
Christ, the Savior, will wipe tears from the faces of his children who endure persecution. He will decorate their lives with beauty and honor.
Perhaps, nothing is more important than the fact that God will reward his steadfast children with an imperishable crown of glory in his kingdom!
Steadfast Christians will be honored as God’s princes and princesses in heaven. What a choice prize of steadfastness!
Dear God, please grant me the grace and power to faithfully serve you throughout the days of my life. Help me to remain steadfast and be committed to you unto the end. Help me to remain confident with the testimony of Jesus Christ. Help me to proclaim the faith in Jesus to glorify your name. Please empower me with your Holy Spirit to remain fit for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Please keep rapturable! For in the name of my Lord, Jesus Christ, I have prayed. Amen.
