If Rapture Is True, What Is Your Stake?
(Passage: Luke 21)
The proclamation that Rapture will occur may sound like an old story, but brace yourself, it will happen!
(Rapture means the second coming of Jesus Christ to transport believers to heaven).
It takes “Faith in Jesus Christ” to qualify for the rapture. That is, a person must first confess Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord and Savior to qualify for the rapture.
If rapture will help, when will that be?
According to the Bible, no one will know the day or time that Jesus Christ will return from heaven to transport his disciples home. No one will know the time – not even the angels know, except God alone. (Matthew 24:36).
Only God, the Father of all, knows the time that his Son Jesus will return to transport the believers to his kingdom.
A person who’s in Christ can’t relax, for now!
Believers in Jesus Christ are waiting for the return of the Lord. We must prepare and get ourselves ready. The Bible requires believers to make every effort to live peacefully, pure, and blameless in the sight of the Lord to qualify for heaven.
It is written,
“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36).
Non-Christians Have An Option
People who have not confessed their faith in Jesus Christ have the choice to confess him and be saved.
There’s No Substitute For God’s Salvation Offer
The world is busy with various activities, and it is easy for anyone to get caught up, but a person who cares to think about what happens in life after death would not drop his guard.
Indeed, there are challenges that people must face on daily basis: Bills must be paid, and other life pressure exist; however, children of God must prioritize obeying God and living up to his standard.
Christians must be careful not to allow anything to affect our relationship with God.
Rapture is the reason for believers to stay alert! Whether this world likes it or not, Jesus Christ will return to rapture his saints to God’s kingdom. We must be prepared to go with him!
Anyone who misses the rapture won’t find it interesting, since the grace of God won’t be available to help anyone. Satan would seize every opportunity to carry out his evil works against those who miss the rapture.
Imagine: A scene devoid of God’s presence won’t be nice for people who miss the rapture. The best a person can do is to confess Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior before it is too late.
Proclaim The Holiness Of Jesus Christ
Dear God, I understand this vanity world will soon come to an end. You will send your Son Jesus Christ to harvest the Christians to your kingdom. Please count me worthy! Count me among the people who will be raptured to your kingdom on the last day. I know it takes the confession of faith in Jesus Christ to be saved; therefore, I confess Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I confess and repent from my sins also. Please write my name in the book of life! For in the name of Jesus Christ I have prayed. Amen.
Remember: Rapture Is Imminent – Be Prepared!
