Children of God must have confidence in God and be sure that he will answer their prayers. Indeed, God is not deaf and he is not wicked. He will appropriately respond to our petitions when we call upon him.
God is good at all times. Also, he is neither deaf nor dumb. Anyone who prays to him with the heart of expectation should expect that he will respond.
Of course, God may run a schedule of operation that is different from ours, but be rest assured that he will always provide you a perfect solution to any problem.
Indeed, God has the power to answer any prayer. He is the Creator of the universe, and he has all powers to do and undo any situation.
People who call unto God in prayer must trust that he will respond. That is, never give up your confidence in God!
Believers should learn from King David in the Bible, who did not allow any situation to negatively influence his prayer life.
David, the servant of God, refused to rely on any man’s help when he fell into a crisis; he cried to God for help, and Jehovah reciprocated his prayer of faith with a decisive victory.
During a crisis, David prayed,
“Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in you; And in the shadow of your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by. I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me. He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. God shall send forth His mercy and His truth” (Psalm 57:1-3).
Prayers Are Expressive and Prompt God To Act
Never underestimate the importance of prayer!
No better tool for Christians than prayer and Bible study. Prayer is a very important tool that we must explore for our everyday use.
Prayer is not all about asking; children of God must bless God when they appear in His presence.
Of course, we must table our requests during prayers, but we must also not forget to appreciate the Lord for all his past benefits in our lives.
However, the most important aspect of this discussion is that Christian must never hesitate to pray to God in any situation!
We must table our requests to the Creator at all times (and in any situation).
Christians should not just cry to God for the sake of expressing pain during any difficult moment, but we should invite God into our situations -Who is capable of handling both the present and any future ones that may arise.
Dear God, please teach me how to pray! Enable me with the strength to express my feelings in your presence. Also, please, empower me to exercise my trust as I pray.
Help me to make consistent prayer as my daily practice. Let me experience the benefit of an answered prayer so that I can testify to your goodness in the land of the living. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.
