God’s Reward Awaits Those Who Withstand Persecution

All Christians Must Be Prepared To Face Persecution For God’s Sake

The Christians’ church would be persecuted prior to the second coming of Jesus Christ. Some believers would lose their lives to the persecutions, but the horrifying event would only happen for a limited time and nothing will go unaccounted for. Christ will rescue his saints, and those who died for the sake of his name would be resurrected to experience eternal life with him. He will rescue those who stood firm during times of persecution. John described his revelation;

“Then I was given a measuring stick, and I was told, “Go and measure the Temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers. But do not measure the outer courtyard, for it has been turned over to the nations. They will trample the holy city for 42 months” (Revelation 11:1-2).

Eternal Rest Awaits Those Who Suffer Persecution For God’s Sake

Children of God would suffer persecution and oppression on earth for the sake of their faith in Jesus Christ, but they will reap rewards of their faith in heaven. Christ will wipe tears off their faces; he will decorate them with beauty and honor. Christ’s believers who remain steadfast with unshifted faith will not only receive special treatments of God, but they will also receive the gift of eternal life. God will crown them, and they will be his princes and princesses. Hence, the price of steadfast Christianity!

As Christians, we should be ready to face challenges while worshipping God. Jesus paid the price for us and we owe him our loyalty. Plus, he’s the truth and life and without him, we cannot make heaven. Challenges are inevitable. We can only pray for God’s help and guidance.

Pray For Strength To Be Steadfast Through Adversity

Dear God, please grant me the grace and power to faithfully serve you throughout the days of my life. Help me to remain immovable during adversity; let me remain confident with the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ, and proclaim undeniable faith that will glorify your name. Please let your Holy Spirit empower me to remain fit for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Let me remain rapturable! For in the name of your Son Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

God Does Not Reward False Charity

Believer: You Have A Reward Is In Heaven

It is good to be good! Any active service that will render that glorifies God is recorded and celebrated in heaven. Christians must focus their efforts on activities that glorify God. Our efforts must not focus on receiving human’s praises and, and it must not be for any other selfish reason. God sees our efforts and he rewards us accordingly. He reciprocates our efforts with rewards so that we can be motivated to do more. Jesus Christ said;

“Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. (Matthew 6:2-4).

God Rewards Only True Services

God respects true worshippers, but he dishonors people pleasers! The Creator expects his children to give him honest services without self-seeking glorification and/or human praises. In addition, God’s children must not engage in false humility to gain the approval of others. We are expected to be pure before God and give him our best services as empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Creator will reciprocate our efforts with blessing so that we can be motivated to serve him more.

God blesses people who promote his kingdom and offer charity genuinely. However, the same cannot be said about pretenders. Those who do it for human praises and gratification are doomed. God doesn’t acknowledge and appreciate such behaviors. If you fit this description, change now, while you still can.

Pray to Focus on God’s Great Reward

Dear God, please help me to offer you my activities with holiness. Help me to offer selfless services to you. Do not let me serve to receive human praises, but let my activities be selfless to glory your Holy Name. Let my services be worthy of your blessing in this life and in heaven also. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

God Protects His Children

Good Christians Must Realize That God’s Protection Is Always Present

Abraham feared for his life, and he asked Sarah his wife to call him a brother to confuse King Abimelech. The man thought Abimelech’s people might take his wife and kill him. However, Abraham, who thought he was smart to lie in an attempt to protect his identity had failed to realize that his God was able to protect him from all evils.

The story of Abraham’s irrational decision to hide his identity was reported;

“Now Abraham said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah. But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, “Indeed you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.” But Abimelech had not come near her; and he said, “Lord, will you slay a righteous nation also? Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister’? And she, even she herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and innocence of my hands, I have done this.” And God said to him in a dream, “Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart. For I also withheld you from sinning against me; therefore I did not let you touch her. Now therefore, restore the man’s wife; for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you shall live. But if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours” (Genesis 20:2-7).

God’s Mercies Never Cease

Christians must understand that our God is ever able to protect us from our enemies. No matter what situation comes our way, God will protect us, and he will also glorify himself. Therefore, instead of any believer entertaining doubt and/or seeking an ungodly alternative solution, he should exercise faith. He should remind himself of the promises of God that are listed in the bible to edify his faith.

The scripture states, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). God is well and able to take care of his children. He will rescue us in times of trouble, irrespective of the source and occurrence, and whether the mistakes come from us or others. God will still be God; he will come to the aid of his people to glorify himself. Hence, believers must rest assured in God always. We must make professions of faith with full expectations. God’s victory is sure over us, as “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

Life is full of hassles and sometimes, the road can be a little rough. Sometimes, we are faced with challenges that we cannot tell where they originated from. God wants us to remember that he is ready to defend us every time, because he loves us unconditionally.

Pray For Grace To Trust In God

Dear God, please teach me how to trust you during adversity. Help me to express my absolute trust in you always. Increase my faith to always profess a statement of faith during adversity. Give me the strength to declare “I know my God whom I serve, and he will deliver me from every lion and every Goliath of life.” Please turn my tough situation around to become my testimony so that unbelievers can hear it and tremble. Let my faith remain firm in you so that I can continue to declare your testimony of goodness in the land of the living. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

Believers Must Be Committed To God’s Service

The scripture commended the courageous Jews who were determined to return from Babylon to Israel, their homeland for the purpose of repairing God’s temple. The patriotic Jews left Babylon to successfully repair God’s temple in Jerusalem as proposed. They, also, offered acceptable sacrifices to God after the completion of their works. The scripture reported their efforts;

“The children of those who had been carried away captive, who had come from the captivity, offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats as a sin offering.

All this was a burnt offering to the Lord. And they delivered the king’s orders to the king’s satraps and the governors in the region beyond the River. So they gave support to the people and the house of God” (Ezra 8:35-36).

Full Commitment To God Ensures Benefits From God

People who are committed to God will not be ashamed under whatever circumstance. They will be rewarded for their commitment. God will reciprocate the goodness of their resources used for him. Jehovah will ensure that none of their efforts will be unrewarded. People who make God happy with a heart of servitude will not suffer shame, but their faces will radiate God’s glory from time to time. Their light will shine into the end of days.

Therefore, anyone who has committed himself or herself to a good course of serving God should keep up the practice; he/she will earn much benefit in return in due time. Also, a person who has not made a choice to serve God with full commitment should improve his/her practice so that he can earn much benefit from his Creator. Are you fully committed to God?

Are you fully committed to God? God loves us and is fully committed to us. He watches over us and wants us to make Him a huge part of our life. Do you think you can do this? Of course, just ask him to direct you and he will..

Pray For Help To Be Fully Committed To God

Dear God, my life will have no significant meaning if I do not fully serve you. Therefore, I am determined to give you my devoted service, so that you can take full glory over my life. Please give me a heart of servitude to faithfully serve you, until the end of my life. Enable me with grace through your Holy Spirit to faithfully serve you until the end! Help me to serve you with ease, and let my services be acceptable to you always. Please turn me to a beacon of praise to your holy name from now on and forevermore! For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

Strive To Conquer Your Adversary

Venture To Withstand Adversity With Firm Faith In God

(Passage: 1 Samuel)

STOP worrying, you are not alone, God is with you! If you are undergoing hardship and feely lonely, I ask you to reconsider your situation; you are not alone, God is with you. He will help you win your adversity.

The Bible states if God is for us, who can be against us!

The thought of loneliness and feeling of isolation may be the enemy’s plot to demoralize you from exercising your faith in God.

You are not alone, God is with you. He will help you overcome your adversity.

Again, God is beside you to help you fight and win!

One man in the Bible called David recognized the presence of God during his difficult moments. Hardship rolled against him like a surging storm, but the man was not moved. He exercises and absolute trust in God.

Just like any other story, it all started well for David when he summoned courage to fight and conquered a giant who oppressed his people. David fought and won the enemy of his country; everyone sang to his praise, but all those excitement soon sparked a rage of jealousy from the king of the land. King Saul considered David as a threat to his throne and was determined to kill him.

A terrible situation for David!

King Saul, who ought to be happy for David’s achievement and celebrate his courage to defend his land became jealous. He sought an opportunity to kill him by all means.

As David ran for his dare life, he never lost the consciousness of God’s presence.

The gentleman, David, saw the wall around him collapsing as he became a fugitive and slept in the jungles.

(Constantly watching his back, David sought a friend in the camp of his enemy.)

It was obvious that King Saul was jealous of David. Even his own son Jonathan recognized that. Here is an occasion of how the poor David was desperate to get help, even from his enemy’s son:

“Then Jonathan said to David, “Tomorrow is the New Moon; and you will be missed, because your seat will be empty. And when you have stayed three days, go down quickly, and come to the place wherein hid in the day of the deed; and remain by the stone Ezel. Then I will shoot three arrows to the side, as though I shot at a target; and there I will send a lad, saying, ‘Go, find the arrows.’ If I expressly say to the lad, ‘Look, the arrows are on this side of you; get them and come’—then, as the Lord lives, there is safety for you and no harm. But if I say thus to the young man, ‘Look, the arrows are beyond you, ’o your way, for the Lord has sent you away. And as for the matter which you and I have spoken of, indeed the Lord is between you and me forever” (1 Samuel 20: 18-23).

You are not alone, God is with you!

God Will Put Every Adversary To Shame

If you can be resolute in your faith, you will soon see how God will put your enemies to shame!

Children of God mostly face injustice in this world. They suffer abuse from people who are despare to take advantage of their godliness. This can be tough for you as a child of God, but never lose hope since God always defend his children.

Christians’ ultimate defense will come from God. Evil people who may currently have upper hands will soon see the judgment of God.

Since Christians are God’s apple eyes, they are bound to be defended by God.

Believers’ Ultimate Assurance

Nothing should give the believers more joy than the assurance that God will earn us his tremendous blessings in his kingdom. He will reward us for our steadfast efforts in spite the hardship that comes our way.

Meanwhile, not only will believers be blessed in heaven, we are also going to be blessed on earth!

God will ensure that people who stand with him on earth are never put to shame and their adversaries will He disappoints

Sometimes it feels like the world is against you. Do you know why? Because the devil has seen your strength. He has noticed you have the will and power to conquer every trial. Do not be afraid, instead pray for more strength and grace to be stronger.

Pray For Blessing & Deliverance

Dear God, please bless me beyond the limits of enemies’ persecutions and suppression. Let your glorious light shine upon me, and let my face radiate your beauty. Let me prosper on earth, and let me be blessed in heaven. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

Salvation Is Open To Everyone – Romans

The Lord Accepts Whoever Repents Genuinely And Comes Back To Him

People who have distanced themselves from salvation still enjoys the grace of Jesus Christ and have a chance of getting saved. God will patiently wait for unbelievers to exercise a change of heart so that he can save them. God will not cast off people who have rebelled against him, but he will show them mercy and grant them the grace of salvation. God stated through Prophet Hosea,

“I will call them my people, who were not my people, and her beloved, who was not beloved.” “And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ There they shall be called sons of the living God” (Romans 9:25-26).

The Chances Of Salvation Has A Limit

People must understand that the door of salvation will not be indefinitely open for sinners, but it will be shut at God’s appointed time. Once the last trumpet blasts, unbelievers will be hurled into hell fire while believers are sent to heaven (Revelation 20:8). Therefore, since “faith in Jesus Christ” remains the only formidable access to God’s kingdom, all people must exercise it. Everyone must confess Jesus Christ as Lord and accept him as his or her personal Savior to be saved.

Christ is the truth and the life. God has willingly given us access to him. Without faith and trust in God, we wouldn’t be truly practicing Christianity. Faith makes it worthwhile, so have faith in him always.

Confess Christ As The Truth

Dear Jesus Christ, I understand that there is no other way through which a person can be saved other than you. Therefore, I confess you as my Lord and personal Savior. I believe you are the Son of God who was sent to save sinners. I confess my sins to you, and I repent from them. I will serve you from now on, and forever! Please write my name in your book of life, and count me worthy of your kingdom. I believe I am now saved through faith, since I have confessed you as my Lord. Glory to God. Amen.

The Second Coming Of Christ Is At Hand

second coming

Understand and Avoid Sins That Proceed Second Coming Of Christ

The Bible indicates that some powerful kingdoms will rise to oppress God’s saints during the end time. They will oppress people and promote immorality until God’s appointed time comes to judge the earth. Immorality and persecution of saints would rise prior to the second coming of Jesus Christ. Apostle John explained his God-given revelation and said;

“…… he woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead, a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement. But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is” (Revelation 17:4-8).

God Will Punish Those Who Partake In Immorality

Various kingdoms in the world will promote violence against God’s elects, and some of them would be killed for the sake of their testimony in Jesus Christ. Many people will derive pleasure from fornication, adultery, homosexuality, and all other immoralities.

However, God will put a final stop to the activities of the evil workers at his appointed time. He will haul evil people to hellfire, which would be a permanent place of punishment.

The bible tells us that there will be a rise in the case of immoralities and persecution before Christ’s second coming. If you’re observant, you would notice this is already happening. We should be vigilant and ask God for the grace to not be a part of these activities.

Ask God To Help Prepare For Second Coming of Jesus

Dear God, please help me to not follow the footsteps of evil people. Do not let me practice, so that I will not sin against you and incur your punishment. Help me to maintain a good relationship with you, and let me hold firm your testimony till the end, so that I can be duly rewarded in heaven. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

Parent To Show Equal Love To Their Children

Every Christian Parent Must Learn How To Show Their Kids Equal Love

Esau and Jacob were twin sons of Isaac and Rebekah. The children were gifted and made their contributions to the family as they knew best. Esau hunted animals for family dinner and Jacob rear family livestock (Jacob also helped his mother in the kitchen).

However, despite the uniqueness of the twins, their parents developed a selfish interest to satisfy their personal desires, while they failed to help the children maximize their potentials. Each parent developed bias affection and made a favorite out of the twins.

Isaac preferred Esau because he hunted games for family dinner, and Rebekah loved Jacob because he helped with domestication. Therefore, the children grew apart and rivalry erupted. The separation eventually degenerated into a bitter rage that made one brother wanted to kill the other.

The scripture stated, “

…Now Jacob cooked a stew, and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. And Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.” Therefore his name was called Edom. But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.” And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?” Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.” So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright” (Genesis 25:29:33) … “ But he (Isaac) said, “Your brother came with deceit and has taken away your blessing” (Genesis 27:35)… “So Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him, and Esau said in his heart, “The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then I will kill my brother Jacob” (Genesis 27:41-46).

Christian parents ought to be clever in dealing with their children to make them maximize their potentials. A wise and godly parent will not prefer one child to another since they are all gifts of God with special qualities. Every parent should be sensitive to the potential of his child and help him maximize it.

God is interested in making each child great; it is the work of the parents to help him meet the expectation. However, some unimaginable consequences amount when a parent fails his (or her) duty.

Satan can take an advantage of the situation to act against the child’s future. Hence, parents must safeguard their children’s future by being sensitive, prayerful, and impactful!

Dear God, please give me the wisdom to appropriately train my child/children in a way to will make them maximize their potentials. Please help me to assist them in fulfilling what you have destined their lives for! Guide me through your Holy Spirit to assist them in making decisions that will enhance their growth and be productive for society and your kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

Prayer Is The Master Key That Opens Any Door

Christians Must Learn Not To Relent In Prayer

Jesus Christ admonished His disciples to always wait upon God in prayer. Those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint. And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.

Paul solicited the prayers of God’s saints so that he could have more opportunity to preach the gospel. He said,

“Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak” (Colossians 4:2-4).

Ask God For Anything In Prayer

Prayer remains an effectual key to obtaining victories through Jesus Christ. Our prayers must not only centralize requests to meet physical needs. We must also daily ask God to empower us to effectively preach the gospel to unbelievers so that they can come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Our tenacious prayers will unlock the doors of gentiles’ hearts and make them respond to the love of Jesus Christ.

Pray For Divine Empowerment

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that God would anoint me with power and grace to evangelize the gospel to unbelievers. I pray that the Holy Spirit of God will fill my mouth when I open it to preach the gospel.

I also pray that the Holy Spirit will open the unbelievers’ hearts to understand and respond to the love of Jesus Christ.

May the light of God overcome all works of darkness in my life and in the lives of my neighbors! For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

God Is Majestic

All Christians Must Worship & Honor God Every Day

Elihu described God as majestic, and the only supernatural one, who reigns supreme on earth. Indeed, God is the greatest of all beings, and all people ought to proclaim his dominion. His power cannot be compared with anyone or anything. There is no one like him, no one can do the things he does. All power in heaven and earth bows to His majestic nature. Elihu talked about God, saying;

“As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him; He is excellent in power, In judgment and abundant justice; He does not oppress” (Job 37:23).

God’s Power Is Unimaginable & Incomparable

People ought to reference God’s unique ability as they praise him. God is great in power and possess superb creative abilities beyond our comprehension! A mere looking at the sky tells many things about God. He set the clouds in layers, and decorated it with amazing color formations. The sun adds a different type of beauty to the sky, as it rises in the west and sets in the east. All these things prove the greatness of God!

God has infinitesimal wisdom, which Je employed to do all things. He created plantations and also, made water to run in its course!

Perhaps the most amazing thing that God used his creative power to make was a human being. He specially made humans in his resemblance and gave each one different unique abilities!

The depth of his wisdom is incredibly unsearchable! He is a deity that cannot be compared to any other. Therefore, it is important that every human submit to God.

Every individual must worship God and praise him from the bottom of his/her heart. Also, everyone ought to be appreciative of God’s goodness by accepting his Son Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Savior.

There is no other being greater than God himself. The Bible Says that He was present even when there was nothing. His word was created to save mankind and free them of sin. He is truly a supreme and mighty God!

Proclaim God’s Supremacy & Promise To Serve Him

Oh Lord, what an awesome God you are who reigns supremely in the affairs of men! You are such a powerful God who does all things powerfully! You deserve my praises, and I will praise you at all times! You have done many great things for me, which I will not take for granted.

I will, therefore praise you in the morning, praise you in the afternoon, and praise you in the evening. I will praise you everyday of my life! Please I ask for your grace and strength to keep my promises.

Help me to remain committed to you so that I can serve you faithfully in everyday of my life. I understand that I must confess your Son Jesus Christ as Lord to be saved. (He died to save my soul). Therefore, I confess Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I promise to faithfully serve him from today and forever! Thank you God for your saving grace! For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.
