Children of God Must Be Steadfast To Scapethrough To The End
(Passage: Luke 21)
Jesus Christ educated his disciples to prepare for the persecutions that would come against them. He warned that Satan and his agents – (Anti-gospel individuals) would persecute believers. Christ asked us (his followers) to endure any difficult situation that may come our way for the sake of his name. Jesus also promised to give us the strength needed to overcome our challenges. He will empower us with his Holy Spirit and help us finish our race well.
Christ the Savior said,
“They will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.” “You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But not a hair of your head shall be lost” (Luke 21:12, 16-18).
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Christian Be Steadfast In Your Lord!
Every child of God must understand that persecution is not foreign to those who are determined to go to heaven. Satan will test our faith, but we must be steadfast until the end because we are going to receive some huge rewards from God.
God will award the steadfast Christians (Those who endured persecutions) with an everlasting reward in his kingdom. God will reward every successful Christian with an imperishable crown of glory in his kingdom!
The road to heaven may be rough, but it has a smooth finish. We have the word of Jesus as our backing! That is, Jesus has promised to give us the strength we need all the way until we are able to successfully finish our Christian race (Luke 21:12, 16-18).
Do not be afraid of an affliction; be happy that you’re a child of God. Any affliction that a Christian suffers on earth would be nothing to compare with the great reward that he (or she) will receive in heaven.
Indeed, being steadfast in faith is a worthwhile effort since there shall be countless joy to experience in heaven!
Pray for the Grace to be Steadfast
Dear God, please endow me with the grace to be steadfast in my Christian work. Empower me with the strength to endure any challenge that may come my way, and help me to hold firmly to my faith till the end so that I can be hugely rewarded in your kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.
Remember: Being Steadfast Makes You God’s Priority
