Offer Sacrifices To God Occasionally To Show Special Appreciation
Jehovah gave explicit instructions on He wants believers to worship Him, and this includes offerings and sacrifices. Some of these offerings include fruits of the earth He created; others include sacrificing animals.
King Solomon overwhelmingly offered expensive sacrifices to God in one instance, and the efforts prompted God to pay him special attention. Jehovah tremendously blessed him beyond expectations.
The scriptures reported,
“…And Solomon went up there to the bronze altar before the Lord, which was at the tabernacle of meeting, and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it. On that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, “Ask! What shall I give you?” (2 Chronicles 1:6-7).
God Blesses His Children Who Offer Benign Sacrifices
Sacrifices of thanksgiving are what God demands of his children; the Creator pays special attention to anyone who goes beyond the normal routine to honor him with honest and plentiful sacrifices.
A person who goes the extra mile to honor God will receive extra blessings for his efforts. Thanksgiving offerings bring sweet aroma to God; he loves to receive such at all times.
Therefore, children of God should do their best to satisfy God with quality and acceptable sacrifice, so that he can bless them beyond measure!
Pray For Help
Dear God, please teach me how to offer my best sacrifices to you at all time. Let my offerings be pure, and let them be acceptable in your presence. Please let my efforts incur your blessings, and let me receive your riches and honor that follow acts of obedience. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.
