God will protect people that serve him
(Passage: Zechariah 12)
Security is of the Lord! Dwellers of Jerusalem have lived in fear and suffered oppression from their surrounding nations, but God promised them guaranteed safety.
The City of Jerusalem would prosper and flourish despite hostility suffered from their enemies.
God said,
“In that day I will make the clans of Judah like a little fire that sets the forest aflame—like a burning match among the sheaves; they will burn up all the neighboring nations right and left, while Jerusalem stands unmoved” (Zechariah 12:6 TLB).
God’s Guaranteed Security Will Be For His Observers
The security of God stands sure for people that serve him. Jehovah will protect his own people, and offer them many benefits.
External influences and pressures that children of God may suffer on earth would not be strong enough to stop God from performing his goodness in their lives.
Since nothing can stop God, he will advance his goodness in his people’s lives; he will not stop until he has made his children’s faces shine.
God’s children will have upper hands over their enemies; they have unquenchable Spirit of God dwelling in them, therefore they are bound to succeed.
Congratulations to people who have made their choices to serve Jehovah and also follow the footsteps of his Son Jesus Christ – They will prosper in this life, and they will also prosper in heaven.
People who have not registered a relationship with God should do so by confessing Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior.
Prayer To Trust God For His Security
Dear God, I understand that you are the only one who has guaranteed security. You have enough strength to save and bless people. Therefore, I swear my allegiance to follow you. I yield my life to you, and I will faithfully serve you throughout the days of my life.
…Please anoint my head with your oil of gladness, and make my face shine. Overflow me with your grace, and empower me through your Holy Spirit to live a life acceptable to you always. Please defend my interest in this life, and let me remain qualified for your eternal riches in heaven. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
