Children Of God Must Acknowledge God’s Faithfulness
Passage: Genesis 41
Joseph had a rough life despite his beautiful dreams of becoming a prominent leader someday. Virtually everyone in his life disappointed him. His brothers deserted him and sold him to slavery. Potiphar also jailed him for an offense he did not commit, plus, Pharaoh’s chief butler failed to honor his pledge to help once he regains his position.
However, despite all the disappointments that Joseph experienced, God remained faithful to him. Through his divine arrangement, God elevated Joseph to a position of honor. He became a prime minister of the most powerful nation on earth.
King Pharaoh said to Joseph,
“… Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.” And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt” (Genesis 41:39-41).
God Will Remain Faithful
God will fulfill every plan he has for his children, despite any challenges they may face. As true believers of Christ, we have the right access to enjoy God’s treasure to the fullest. Although circumstances of life may rise to challenge us, and we may feel the world is collapsing, the fact remains that God is faithful.
God won’t disappoint us; he will send us help. We may face injustice, and people may force us to pay what we did not owe. Friends and family may desert us and enemies may slander, but God’s faithfulness will not leave us. He will carry us through our challenges and help us prevail.
Jehovah will ensure our hope is not dashed; he will not stop when others have stopped. The Creator will turn every challenge that we face to our stepping-stone of greatness, and those tough situations will become advantageous.
Pray For A Spiritual Turnaround From God
Dear God, I believe that you are the God of gods and Lord of lords. You are strong and able to fulfill your promises in my life. Therefore, I ask that you put me in the book of your remembrance and turn my predicament into a stepping stone of greatness. Let all my life circumstances turn around for my benefit. Use them to elevate me, and lead me in the path that will make your complete plans come to pass in my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.
