God Detest Hypocritical Behaviors
(Passage: Hosea 8)
God was dissatisfied with his disobedient children and asked his prophet to announce the judgment that would come on them. God said to Prophet Hosea,
“Set the trumpet to your mouth! He shall come like an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed my covenant and rebelled against my law. Israel will cry to me, ‘My God, we know you!’ Israel has rejected the good; the enemy will pursue him” (Hosea 8:1-3 NKJV).
Believers must carefully serve God and respect him for who he is.
Believers must not attempt to take God for granted. They must not camouflage some honest behaviors in an attempt to manipulate God for the purpose of receiving his blessing.
The hypocrite will have no luck with God.
Christians must fear and respect God in whatever they do so that He can be pleased with them. For example, any Christian who wears some beautiful dresses to church and sing beautiful songs but keep some secret sins will not be recognized as an honest person by God.
The Creator expects his children to avoid pretense but serve him with openness, humility, and genuine repentance so that they can prosper.” (Biblelifelesson.com).
Denounce Hypocritical Behaviors to be Blessed
People who believed they can deceive God with their hypocritical behaviors are actually deceiving themselves because no one can successfully manipulate God. The Creator has a set rule that will not be reversed. Everyone must comply with God’s standard of holiness to be blessed.
Anyone who fails to obey God’s instructions will be judged on the last day. Therefore, each individual person must make a choice to desist from evil and serve God with holiness to receive the gift of eternal blessing in heaven.
Prayer Of Honesty and Not to be Hypocrite
Dear God, please help me to fear you and operate before you with faithfulness so that I can prosper. Help me to walk before you with honesty so that I can qualify for your benefits every day of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
