All Christians Must Utilize Their Gifts To Promote God’s Work
Passage: 1 Corinthians 12
God distributes his various gifts of the Holy Spirit to help believers prosper in his kingdom. He has given you at least one spiritual gift or ability, just as He has given every other believer. The scriptures mentioned some gifts of the Holy Spirit as they are meant to aid our spiritual exercises.
It is written,
“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines” (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).
God’s Gift Is An Eternal Tool For His Purpose
God blesses his believer with at least one gift to prosper his kingdom. The gift is meant to enhance our spiritual exercise for the sake of prospering God’s kingdom. The Holy Spirit of God energizes believers to operate beyond our human limits.
Since the Holy Spirit comes from God, He enhances us with supernatural capabilities to bear much fruit. It is, therefore, imperative that every Christian seeks the baptism of the Holy Spirit for his or her success.
The Spirit of God will not arm but aid us to prosperity.
Pray For God’s Eternal Gift
Dear God, I understand the Holy Spirit comes from you to prosper people that serve you; therefore, I ask that you please baptize me with your Holy Spirit. Let your Spirit energize me to have success in every area of life. Let Him (Holy Spirit) enhance my spiritual activities so that I can bear many fruits for your kingdom. Please keep me fit to inherit your eternal kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.
