God Makes It Easy For Everyone To Become A Child Of God
(Passage: Romans 10)
The decision to become saved is one of the easiest decisions that anyone can make in life. This is called a process of obtaining the salvation of Jesus Christ. The process does not come with any sort of sacrifice from our part. In other words, we don’t have to pay any price to complete this process.
A person who has obtained the salvation of the Lord is called a born-again Christian.
The requirement for becoming a born-again Christian is simple because it only requires two steps from us. They are:
- Declaration of faith in Jesus, and
- Exercising of faith in the declaration that was made.
The scripture stated;
“… That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).
If you ask: Why must anyone become saved? The salvation of Jesus Christ is necessary for us to qualify for the kingdom of God.
We must adopt the lifestyle that the Bible requires to qualify for the kingdom of God.
The Process of Obtaining Salvation of Jesus
The requirement for becoming a child of God is sometimes considered to be complex, but it is not. The process is actually simple and can be obtained by anyone. In fact, consider the process to be as simple as “A, B, C.”
Anyone can become saved within a short moment.
As mentioned earlier, the two processes required to become born-again are
- Confession of faith, and
- Believing in the confession that is made.
Salvation Process Is Not A Game
Although the salvation process is simple, anyone can misconceive what it stands for. Salvation is not a means of manipulating God to receiving his blessing. “Salvation” means that you release yourself completely for God to take control.
Salvation means that you have declared Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. This means that you have exercised your faith in Jesus which has earned you the right to inheriting the kingdom of God.
Confess Christ As Your Personal Savior
Dear Jesus Christ, I believe in you. I believe that you are the Son of God. You are the only pathway to heaven; therefore, I confess you, Jesus Christ, as my personal Lord and Savior. I promise to commit my total life to you from today and I will serve you for the rest of my life. Please keep me fit for your eternal kingdom. Thank you, Jesus Christ, for your saving grace. Amen.
