God Will Reward Faithful Christians
(Passage: Nahum 1)
Faithful services. Christians are required to give due honor and faithfully serve him at all times. We must give whatever it takes to make God happy with us. The Creator reserves his measurable punishment for anyone who fails to offer him an acceptable service. It is written,
“God is jealous, and the Lord avenges; The Lord avenges and is furious. The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserves wrath for His enemies; The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet. He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers. Bashan and Carmel wither, and the flower of Lebanon wilts.
…The mountains quake before Him, The hills melt, and the earth heaves at His presence, Yes, the world and all who dwell in it. Who can stand before His indignation? And who can endure the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by Him. The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him. But with an overflowing flood He will make an utter end of its place, and darkness will pursue His enemies” (Nahum 1:2-8 NKV).
Faithful Service To God Will Lead To Our Blessings
God’s overflow of blessing will flourish the lives of people that faithfully serve him. Faithful believers will also enjoy God’s protection. Jehovah promised to go an extra mile to defend the interest of his children that make him proud. It is important that all people understand that God will not positively reward whoever abuses his benefits in their lives.
Only those who maintain good standing with him will enjoy his benefits. God will decorate the lives of his faithful worshipers with every goodness of life, and he will also benefit them in his kingdom.
