God Will Deal With Wicked People Unless They Repent
(Passage: Micah 2)
God hates wickedness, and he asked the wicked people to repent of their evil ways, or else they pay dire consequences. (Meanwhile, God promised to bless people who exercise genuine repentance).
The end game will not be sweet for a defiant person as God stated,
“Woe to those who devise iniquity, and work out evil on their beds! At morning light they practice it because it is in the power of their hand. They covet fields and take them by violence, Also houses, and seize them So they oppress a man and his house, A man and his inheritance” (Micah 2:1-2).
Lesson On Fairness and Justice
God dislikes wickedness and he will cast wicked people away from his presence. People who oppress others will not exist at the mercy of God on his Day of Judgment. No alternate action for wicked people than repentance!
Jehovah who knows and sees all things will exert his righteous judgment on wicked people. Meanwhile, God will favorably deal with people who exercise fairness and justice. Compassionate people will receive God’s blessing in all their ways.
The bible states,
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you-even Jesus. Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. (Acts 3:19-21 NIV)
Prayer To Exercise Fairness
Dear God, please help me to be fair and treat other people with respect. Make me a righteous person who cares for others and make positive contributions to their lives. Do not let me be obsessed with power and/or position so that I might not sin against you!
Please forgive my past mistakes and help me to start living an acceptable life before you from today! Please count me worthy to receive your blessings always. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
