Heaven and Hell Remain the Verdict
(Passage: Ecclesiastes 1)
This present earth planet is temporal. Everything contained in it will not last forever, it will perish someday! One wise preacher in the bible stated,
“I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and indeed, all is vanity and grasping for the wind” (Ecclesiastes 1:14).
Vanity Upon Vanity; Earth Is Vanity!
Anyone whose primary hope is to acquire the earthly riches will someday realize that he (or she) has chased the wind and is worthy to be rewarded with emptiness. The pursuits of success without the consciousness of things of God will make a person miserable and be eternally doomed in hell!
Indeed, earthly materials are temporal and they will all vanish someday. Meanwhile, anyone who desires to inherit the kingdom of God is striving to receive an incorruptible gift of God during a life after death – In Heaven. God’s sons and daughters will forever enjoy his benefits in his kingdom (Revelation 21:1-4).
People who mainly pursue the things of this world without the consciousness of things of God will have themselves to blame on the last day. According to Matthew 25:41, God will pronounce an irreversible judgment on them and cast them to the bottomless pit that is filled with a mixture of fire and sulfur – The hellfire!
Heaven Will Benefit God’s People
Heaven is reserved for people who have the consciousness of God and faithfully serve him. God will reward his worshipers with numerous imperishable benefits in heaven.
To qualify for heaven and enjoy its due benefits, a person must confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God and accept him as his (or her) personal Lord and Savior. The person must also repent of his sins and determine to faithfully serve God for the rest of his life on earth.
Prayer For Your Salvation
Dear God, please count me worthy to inherit your kingdom. Count me among the people that will permanently live in heaven to enjoy your everlasting benefits. I confess my sins and repent from them. I confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God and I accept him as my personal Lord and Savior. From now on, I promise to faithfully serve Jesus Christ. (I believe that I am now a saved, and I’m qualified for heaven!) Thank you God for the saving grace obtained through your Son Jesus Christ my Lord! Amen.
