The Chosen Ones Are Those Who Have Confessed Jesus As Lord
Passage: Matthew 25
God designed heaven for everyone, but unfortunately, only a few people would get there. Those who have refused to confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will be disqualified from heaven.
Indeed, the second coming of Jesus Christ will alter all earth activities. Christ’s return will come with some mixed reactions. While the Christians rejoice and welcome their Master, the non-Christians would be left to face their fate of God’s condemnation in hellfire.
People who have rejected the salvation offer of Jesus would be considered as wicked people and be cast to hell. Christ will advocate for his followers as the scripture states,
“All the nations will be gathered before Him (Christ), and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats… Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world… And the wicked people will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (Matthew 25:32-46).
Unbelievers and Unrepentant Sinners Risk Losing Heaven
The followers of Jesus Christ will receive the gift of eternal life and rejoice with God in heaven! That is, those who have confessed Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior will be saved and be raptured to heaven.
Since the Lord’s final day of judgment is imminent, people of all classes and religions must heed the Bible warning that requires all people to confess Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior to be saved.
