A GREEK WOMAN APPLIED FAITH AND RECEIVED HER MIRACLE – Mark 7

People Must Operate In Faith To Experience God’s Power

One Grecian woman, in the Bible, seized an opportunity to receive an unqualified miracle of Jesus Christ. Of course, Jesus was nice to everyone, but he was on a different mission when the Grecian woman intercepted him and demanded her miracle. Despite Jesus’ objection to the demand, the woman insisted that Jesus must help her. The Messiah positively responded and credited the woman for her great faith.

The Bible reported,

“Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret. In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an impure spirit came and fell at his feet. The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter. “First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” “Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.” Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.” She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone (Mark 7:24-30 NIV).

Persistent Faith Is Essential To Receiving God’s Miracle

Have persistent faith!

Anyone who expects to receive the miracle of God must operate in faith. Indeed, God has unrestricted power to do whatever he likes; however, God maintains a principle to only honor people who operate in faith. That is, the Creator will help someone who cast an absolute trust in him. (God will help a person of faith no matter how heavy or light the weight of his or her problem may be).

Meanwhile, not just any claim of faith works with God; someone must have had an actionable faith to have his or her expectations met. That is, a person who claims to have faith in God must also demonstrate courage by taking every necessary step that will help his or her aspiration.

Faith Requires Your Action

Faith requires an action! A child of God who desires to receive God’s miracle must pray and engage his (or her) tasks. The person must be proactive and work towards receiving the expected miracle.

For example, a believer who expects to have good health must go for a medical checkup to know the status of his health. The step taken will help him to appropriately take care of his body, and the report will guide him to know what to pray about and the precautions to take. Another example, someone who wants to have financial breakthrough cannot stay idle and expects God’s miracle to happen. The mathematics will not add up! The person must be diligent in his (or her) work as he remains prayerful. The Lord of Miracle will, therefore, bestow mercy and release his blessings on the serious individual.

Faith Must Come With The Right Attitude

Faith and actions works. As a child of God, you must operate with actionable faith to have your expectations met. Meanwhile, if you claim to be a person of faith, then you must have believed in what the power of God can do for you through his Son Jesus Christ! Understand that God is not a magician, he won’t act until you meet his requirements.

Pray For Grace And Power To Demonstrate Faith

Dear God I believe that you have the power to do all things. There is no limit to what you can do for people who trust in you. I also understand that you require your children to be proactive in their works as they take the steps of faith. Therefore, I pray that you help me to put my faith to practice by taking proactive steps that will lead to my breakthrough. I believe in the scripture that states, “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me!” I believe there is no limit to the number of miracles that I can receive through faith in Jesus Christ! Please give me the strength to put my faith into practice so that I can prosper in the land of the living. Let my testimony abide and glorify your name! For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
