Jesus Has Made It Possible For Christians To Speak Directly With God Now

(Passage: 2 Corinthians 3)

People who live during the New Testament era should consider themselves fortunate to have the salvation of Jesus Christ readily available. This is so, because those who lived during the Old Testament era longed for what we have easy. They desperately needed to experience the salvation of Christ. For example, the glory of God that radiated on Moses in the wilderness is nothing to compare with the version that Jesus bestowed on his followers in the New Testament. Present day believers have direct access to God through Jesus Christ. The scripture explained,

“But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory” (2 Corinthians 3:7-9).

God’s Grace Is Sufficient For Everyone

Congratulations to people who have confessed their faith in Jesus Christ for they shall be entitled to God’s treasures in heaven. Christians shall enjoy the grace of Jesus Christ received freely. That is, Christians are saved by grace and not by work! We live by faith to enjoy God’s benefits.

Christians are not only fortunate to enjoy God’s benefits on earth. We are also fortunate to qualify for heavenly benefits. In fact, Christians will be more honorable than angels once they get to heaven (1 Corinthians 6:3).

Nothing is more intriguing than the everlasting pleasure that Christians will enjoy in heaven. Believers will live peacefully in heaven. We shall rejoice at the bosom of the Lord forever!

Unfortunately, those who refused to confess Jesus as Lord will not share a pleasurable moment with God in heaven. Unbelievers will not be considered as God’s sons and daughters. They shall be kicked out of heaven to live permanently with Satan in hell fire. It is important that all individuals confess their faith in Jesus Christ, in order to escape the horror of hell fire.

An unbeliever needs to confess Jesus Christ as his (or her) personal Lord and Savior to be saved. Whoever confesses Jesus Christ as Lord will enjoy an everlasting life with Him in His kingdom.

Prayer Of Repentance And Forgiveness

Dear God, I understand that Christians will make heaven and enjoy everlasting life with you; therefore, please count me worthy! Since unbelievers will not share the joy with you in heaven, I do not want to remain an unbeliever! I am determined to give my life to you today and forever! Today, I declare Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died for my sins and resurrected to save my soul. I confess my sins and repent from them. Henceforth, I will serve and honor Jesus Christ for the rest of my life.

Please count me worthy in your eternal kingdom, O Lord! For in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord I prayed. Amen.
