God Delivers Judgement According To Believer’s Actions On Earth

Passage: Ezekiel 18

God will judge the earth’s inhabitants via his unbiased rule. He will compel every individual to explain and account for their past sins. We shall all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for their deeds in the body, according to what he’s done, whether good or bad. God emphasized,

“The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. “But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all my statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live. Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live? “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die. “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not my way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair? When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies. Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive” (Ezekiel 18:20-27).

reward

Our Actions Determine Our Reward

God will bring the world to justice; everyone who has ever lived on earth will face His judgment. Every single person will give an account of his/her past sins. While some people will be exonerated and be awarded heaven, others will be cast into hell fire, where they shall live in everlasting torments.

Only people who have confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and served him well on earth will inherit God’s kingdom. Those who have backslidden from faith, and people who have refused to confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will be unacceptable in heaven (Matthew 25).

Self-righteous people, and those who claim morality and good works without Christ will have no place in heaven as well.

advocate

Jesus Christ Is An Advocate For All Christians

How can anyone inherit heaven with good works, since humans have a sinful nature? How can anyone be able to successfully justify him or herself in the presence of God with the personal righteous standard? Apparently, no claim of self-righteousness would be adequate enough to measure up to God’s requirements of heaven. This is why humans need an advocate on God’s day of judgment!

Jesus Christ is the only deity who adequately fits the position. He was a sinless man who died for sinful people. God sent him to die for sinners, and he did so! He will stand for people who believe in him. God will honor whatever requests that he makes on behalf of his followers on the day of judgment.

Hence, all people should consider it a good investment to declare their faith in Jesus Christ, and serve him faithfully.

Lord Jesus

Pray For The Acceptance Of Jesus Christ

Dear God, I understand that Jesus Christ is the only deity who has the power to give anyone eternal life, so what am I waiting for? I want to immediately confess Jesus Christ as my Lord. In fact, I will do it right now! I (mention your name) Confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I believe he died for my sins and resurrected to give me eternal life. Therefore, I give my life to him. I will faithfully follow Jesus Christ from today, and I will serve him with all my heart throughout the days of my life. Please forgive my past sins, and write my name in the book of life. Please make me forever fit for your kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I made my faith declarations. Amen.
