All Christians Must Put Their Trust In God For Protection
Passage: Exodus 12
King Pharaoh and his Egyptians citizens oppressed the Hebrews with an accusation that they intended to dominate their land. However, despite the pressure of the enemies, God stood to the defense of the Hebrews. He assured them,
“For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord” (Exodus 12:12).
God’s words came to pass for the Hebrews as he defended them against the Egyptians. The Bible reported,
“And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock” (Exodus 12:29).
God Reserves His Wrath For The Enemies Of His Children
God is strong and able to defend the interests of his children from their enemies. Jehovah knows the right way to get back at the enemies and adequately compensate them for their evil deeds. God’s anger will overtake the enemies when they have least expected.
Anyone who plans to attack a child of God should think twice since he or she may end up receiving any worse punishment ever imagined!
People should consider it a good option to care for God’s children since they will be blessed.
Pray For God’s Help To Be A Source Of Blessing To Others
Dear God, Please let me be a source of blessing to the people around me, for especially your children. Do not let me be an instrument of Satan and don’t let me affect anyone’s life negatively. Please, let my activities invite your blessings! Make me your true ambassador, and prosper my life! For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
Remember: God Defends Us Against Our Enemies!
