God’s Miracles will be Available for Believers

Passage: Ezra 1

One gentile king was inspired to sponsor the reconstruction of God’s Temple in Jerusalem. The king who had an idolatry background allowed God to inspire and use him for the good course. The king’s name is Cyrus, and he ruled the Persia Empire. King Cyrus encouraged the Jews to return to their homeland and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. However, not only did King Cyrus mobilized and sent them to their ancient City of Jerusalem, he also asked the people of his empire to support the Jews. He instructed his people to provide both material and financial support for the Jewish project. The scripture reported,

“Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, (he is the God) which is in Jerusalem. And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem” (Ezra 1:1-4).

God’s Power will Favor Christians

God has the divine ability to rally support for his children. No one is out of the radar of God’s usage for his good courses! In fact, God can even use an enemy to benefit his children! Jehovah has the autonomous power to use both kings and servants alike for the sake of glorifying his name in the lives of his children. Based on the significant fact that God is able to do all things to assist his children, Christians must exercise their trust in him!

Christians are the children of God. We are the people of his apple eyes. That is, Jehovah will take care of us even when a situation arises to tempt us into doubting him. Christians must not doubt God; we must trust in him at all times. Believers must be confident that God is exceedingly and abundantly able to do all things for our benefits. Of course, the call to trust God does not mean that a Christian should fold his hands in idleness! Every child of God still has an obligation to actively engage his or her task as he or she expects God’s miracle! People who actively trust in God will receive his help. The Creator will manifest his power to assist his diligent children now, and always!

God’s help will be sufficient for his faithful children.

Do you trust that God can help you in your situation? Don’t doubt him. Trust in him, and you will not be disappointed!

Prayer for God’s Help

God of miracle is still alive to answer every prayer.

Dear God, I have learned from the Bible that you are strongly able to do all things to benefit your children. Please give me the ability to trust you in my situations. Help me to patiently wait for your assistance. Also, help me to be diligent in my engagement as I exercise my trust in you. Please raise helper for me from every corner of the earth! Send my helpers from the north, south, east, and west! Please enrich me with your benefits so that I can testify to your goodness throughout the world! Believers Will Enjoy God’s Perfect Creation Again

Passage: Hebrews 8

God promised to have a new covenant with his children so that they can have an opportunity to access the ever-reaching benefits in his kingdom. God’s new covenant will make a lasting impact on his children, and they will enjoy it eternally. God said in the scripture,

“…For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more” (Hebrews 8:7-12 KJV).

Earth Will Declare the Wonders of God

Earth inhabitants have witnessed many wonders of God, but what we have seen so far are virtually nothing to compare with more wonders to be unfolded. Presently, earth inhabitants witness the display of God’s power as they are noticeable when we observe the nature and galaxy. Meanwhile, God will make everything that we see go into extinction. He will create a new earth that will display his advanced ingenuity. God’s new creation (new heaven and new earth) will contain his indescribable and glamorous works. However, something remarkable about God’s new creation is the fact that not all people will witness it. Only a few people who have declared Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior will qualify. That is, a person must declare Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord to qualify for God’s kingdom.

(People who once had a good relationship with God but have lost it for any reason must retrace their steps back to God. Everyone must renew his or her covenant with God to qualify for his undaunted benefits.)

People who have rejected the testimony of Jesus Christ will not be allowed to access God’s benefits. Their portion will be in the lake of fire. Hence, anyone who has not confessed Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord and Savior should not hesitate to do so, since this is the only requirement that God has set for people to inherit his kingdom.

God's kingdom

Renew your covenant with God.

Pray for God’s Power to Befit His Kingdom

Dear God, please count me worthy to inherit your kingdom. Count me among the people that will witness the beauty of your creation and enjoy it. I understand that you require all people to confess (your Son) Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior to be saved. Therefore, I am renewing my covenant with you today: I confess Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior! I repent from my sins, and I promise to start serving you with honesty and full devotion. From now on, I will prioritize serving you, and I will do this for the rest of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen. => Subscribe here

The Power of God will Benefit Christians

(Passage: Nahum 1)

The power of God is extraordinarily great and remains unbeatable. Jehovah is God; he is the only deity that all people must serve. The Creator has an autonomous power to do whatever he likes. The magnitude of God’s power is beyond any human comprehension! God has the power to give life; he also has the power to take it back. God can make rain to fall in the morning, cause the sun to shine in the afternoon, and snow to fall in the evening. In fact, God is so powerful to an extent that nothing is difficult for him to handle! The Creator, in his magnificent power, requires that all people must recognize him, revere him, and serve him. He asked everyone (his creation) to serve him with all their strength and might. Whoever honors the call to faithfully serve God will prosper on earth and in heaven!

The Bible states,

“God is jealous, and the Lord avenges; The Lord avenges and is furious. The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserves wrath for His enemies; The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet. He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers. Bashan and Carmel wither, and the flower of Lebanon wilts. The mountains quake before Him, The hills melt, and the earth heaves at His presence, Yes, the world and all who dwell in it. Who can stand before His indignation? And who can endure the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by Him. The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him. But with an overflowing flood He will make an utter end of its place, and darkness will pursue His enemies” (Nahum 1:2-8).

Blessings Shall Follow People That Recognize the Power of God

The Power of God controls the universe; people who recognize and appreciate this fact will prosper. Why? God has the supreme authority to control all things. He has an autonomous power over the earth and heaven. Whatever God says and does are final. No one can question his authority. The Creator has promised to use his magnificent power to favor the people who faithfully serve him. He considers his faithful worshipers as his true children deserving of blessings, and he will bless them.

Anyone that recognizes the power of God and honors the Creator will not regret his (or her action). God will use his magnificent power to favor him. Jehovah will go to an extra mile to ensure that his child that makes him proud get blessed.

Follow the course; serve God for Who He Is

People who expect the blessings of God must faithfully serve God. They must prioritize serving him so that the Creator can surprise them with his much benefits.

Serve God to receive his benefits!

Pray for Grace to Recognize The Power of God

Dear God, please give me the enabling grace to honor you and faithfully serve you so that I can prosper. Help me to serve you in the Spirit and in truth (as you required in the Bible – John 4:24). Please bless me as I acknowledge your power and make a sincere effort to satisfy your desires. Let your goodness and mercy follow me in every day of my life. Earn me the privilege to testify to your goodness in the assembly of your people. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen. => Subscribe here.

Power of God

Power of God Cannot Be Underestimated

(Passage: Hosea 8)

God mostly steers his supernatural power to bless his children, but he acts in contrast if his children attempt to take him for granted. That is, the power of God may not be favorable to everyone alike. God may turn his back on a disobedient child that refuses to repent of his or her sins.

For example, God spoke to Prophet Hosea that Israelites have deeply hurt him, and he would punish them for their actions. God said to Hosea,

“Set the trumpet to your mouth! He shall come like an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed my covenant and rebelled against my law. Israel will cry to me, ‘My God, we know you!’ Israel has rejected the good; the enemy will pursue him” (Hosea 8:1-3).”

God’s Power Ought To Benefit The Believers

The power of God will ever benefit people who reserve their trust in Jesus Christ. However, people who claim to love God must serve him in holiness. We must not test God’s patience by attempting to take his grace for granted.

Christians must understand that God who is great at performing his miracles to favor believers is also great at punishing people who persist in their sins. Everyone has the obligation to repent of his or her sins to enjoy God’s full benefits.

Anyone who is humble enough to acknowledge his or her sin and repent of it will prosper! The Bible states,

“He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy” (Proverbs 28:13).

Everyone must understand that God sees and knows all things; he will bless whoever genuinely confesses his or her sin and repent of it. The path of a repentant sinner shall be peaceful. Jehovah will prosper it in this life and the one to come!

The judgment of God will come on people who have failed to obey his commandments. Jehovah will exercise his power against his rebellion children. Meanwhile, the Creator will not withhold his benefit from his faithful children who follow his rules. God will enrich the lives of his faithful observers in this life, and the one to come. The power of God will forever benefit his children!

prayer of faith

Ask for God’s Power To Meet His Standard

Dear God, please give me the ability to serve you with a loyal heart. Make me someone that repents from his (or her) sin whenever I make a mistake. Help me to genuinely repent of my sins, and give me the ability to serve you in holiness so that I can prosper in every day of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. God Will Help His Obedient Children Prosper

Passage: (Nehemiah 10)

Exile Jews who returned to Jerusalem (their homeland) also renewed their covenant with God. They promised to follow God’s rule of marriage, and they also promised to obey his requirement to keep the Sabbath Day holy. The people said,

“if the peoples of the land brought wares or any grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we would not buy it from them on the Sabbath, or on a holy day; and we would forego the seventh year’s produce and the exacting of every debt” (Nehemiah 10:31).

God Will Work With An Obedient Child

God is willing to work with any Christian who is determined to serve him well. He will also work with a backslidden Christian who chooses to repent of his sin. Jehovah will accept a repentant sinner in a way that is similar to the story of the Prodigal Son in the bible (Luke 15:11-32). A person who repents from his sins, and serves God well will not be condemned on God’s day of judgment. The person will find his place with God in heaven.

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. (Isaiah 1:19-20).

Pray For Power To Obey God

Dear God, please give me a heart that follows your instructions. Help me to humbly repent of my sins and turn a new leaf so that I can qualify for your kingdom. Forgive my past sins and guide me to start living a new life of holiness before you. Please let my ways satisfy you on earth so that I can qualify for your eternal kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen. => Subscribe here.

Christians Serve God of Possibilities Who Rebuilt Jerusalem Wall

(Passage: Nehemiah 12)

Nehemiah who led exile Jews back to their land to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem was opposed by Sanballat and Tobiah. However despite the oppositions, the man of God triumph, and he accomplished his mission. The Jews successfully built the wall and completed it. They also celebrated their achievement to honor God. The scripture reported,

“Now at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought out the Levites in all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem to celebrate the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings and singing, with cymbals and stringed instruments and harps” (Nehemiah 12:27).

God Who Built Jerusalem Wall Can Do Much More For Us!

God who built Jerusalem’s wall for Nehemiah can help us! Christians serve God of Possibilities; he will make any impossibility turn to possibility for his children! Indeed, God can do all things, and nothing is impossible for him to do. People who are determined to faithfully serve God will receive God’s help to overcome their challenges and have a testimony.

Jehovah will support his faithful children against any obstacle they may confront. It is important that believers understand that we are not ordinary people. We are people anointed by God to succeed on earth. God is on our side, and he will help us prosper in all our ways. Nothing shall be impossible for us in as much we continue to reserve our trust in him!

Pray For Faith To Keep Trusting God

Dear God, please help me to realize my status as your child who deserves to succeed on earth, and also worthy of heaven. Help me to take the steps of faith into achieving my expected breakthroughs! Please bless the work of my hands so that I can prosper and share the testimony of your goodness to people around me.

Please make my life a living testimony to the glory of your name! For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

Matthew – Christians Must Not Be Anxious For Anything

(Passage: Matthew 6)

Jesus instructed his followers to not worry about anything, but they should have confidence in God. Believers must be joyous and hopeful at all times. We must have an expectation that promises of God on our lives will come to pass.

Jesus said, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek.

For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble” (Matthew 6:25-34).

Important Lesson on Anxiety

People who serve God must not be anxious about anything, but we must be hopeful in God. Believers must be confident that God is ever strong to help us overcome our challenges and lead us to victory.

Christians must understand that Satan outsource scary situations to challenge our faith. His goal is to make us doubt God and stumble in faith. No Christian should give in for the desire of the enemy.

We must be full of faith and have high expectations. As we demonstrate unwavering faith, God will turn our trials into testimonies, and he will also make Satan be ashamed. Indeed, God will compensate our faith and turn it into testimonies!

Prayer Against Anxiety

Dear God, please help me to demonstrate unwavering faith in you. Help me to stop worrying about life challenges. Help me to realize that you are in charge of my life, and you will perfect whatever concerns me! As I continue to trust you, let my terrible situation turn around to good one, and let me have the story of your goodness to share with other believers and the rest of the world. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

Reward for Confidence in God

(Passage: Obadiah 1)

People who reserve their confidence in God will not be put to shame, but they will triumph over difficult situations to possess their possessions.

The scripture stated, “But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions” (Obadiah 1:17).

Lesson on Confidence in God

Deliverance, safety, and prosperity are bound to follow people who faithfully serve God. Although some challenges may arise, children of God have guaranteed promise of victory. No matter how tough a situation may appear, God will cover his people under his blanket of provision and protection. He will help them smile over crises; he will pay their bills, and he will comfort them.

Jehovah will ensure that his children always have reasons to glorify his name. Therefore, it makes sense for anyone to establish definite relationship with God, since there is nothing good to lose in the process. Meanwhile, a person who fails to establish a precise relationship with God, and a person who slacks in his or her relationship with God will have many good things to lose! God’s deliverance, safety, and prosperity may not be readily available for people who distant themselves from their Creator.

Prayer of Grace to have Total Confidence in God

Dear God, I do not want to fool myself by assuming that it is not necessary to have definite relationship with you! I need you; I need your deliverance, protection, and provisions! Therefore, I am ready to give all it takes to have you in my life as my personal Lord and Savior. I yield my total life to you today; I confess your Son Jesus Christ as Lord, and I accept him as my personal Savior. From now on, I will faithfully serve you, and for the rest of my life! Thank you God for sending your Son Jesus Christ to save my soul. For in the name of Jesus Christ I prayed. Amen.

Obedience Leads To God’s Blessing

(Passage: Joshua 19)

Joshua who led Israelites to possess the Promised Land also claimed his own personal portion of the inheritance. Israelites awarded his entitlement to commemorate God’s faithfulness on him. Joshua had demonstrated remarkable courage in the past. He joined Caleb to stand with God in the wilderness, when others refused.

The scripture reported how he was rewarded:

“When they (Israelites) had made an end of dividing

the land as an inheritance according to their borders, the children of Israel gave an inheritances among them to Joshua the son of Nun. According to the word of the Lord they gave him the city which he asked for, Timnath Serah in the mountains of Ephraim; and he built the city and dwelt in it” (Joshua 19:49-50).

Lesson on Obedience

God still rewards people who diligently seek him. He will ensure they are blessed so that people can glorify his name. He will lift his children up and he will bless them. In fact, God’s rewards on his faithful children will extend beyond this earth! He would dignify them in heaven, and they will also receive crowns of glory.

Prayer of Grace to be Worthy of God’s Blessings

Dear Lord, I love good rewards, and I want you to give me many of them. Let me faithfully serve you so that I can qualify for your blessings. Please encourage me to stand with you at all times, even when it is no convenient! Let me be your true son/daughter/servant that would receive honor on the Day of Reckoning. For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

1 Chronicles – God Remains Faithful Through Thick and Thin

(Passage: 1 Chronicles 16)

God was faithful to Israelites his children. King David recounted some of Jehovah’s faithfulness, and mentioned how God supernaturally lead Israelites out of Egypt and brought them to their Promised Land.

God was faithful as David stated, “When they went from one nation to another, And from one kingdom to another people, He permitted no man to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, Saying, “Do not touch my anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm.” (1 Chronicles 16:20-22).

God will do the Unimaginable For His Children

The difference between God and man is that God does not fail on promises, but man does. Circumstances may cause a man to change his mind, but God will remain faithful to his children.

Jehovah will do whatever necessary to fulfill his promises – even when circumstances prove difficult. Hence, believers are challenged to keep their faith and remain hopeful for fulfillment of God’s promises on their lives. If he said it, he will do it! The Creator may or may not require any effort from our part, but it is important that we trust him.

Application Prayer

Prayer of Grace to Wait on the Lord

Dear God, please help me to trust you at all times. Let my confidence in you be resolute; let me cooperate with you so that you can meet all my expectations. Please give me long life, good health, and prosperity to continue enjoying your goodness. For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
