GOD’S MIRACLES WILL NEVER CEASE – Judges

wonders

True Believers Will Experience God’s Grace And Wonders In Their Lives Forever

(Passage: Judges 13)

God promised to bless Manoah’s family with a Nazirite child, who would deliver the Israelites from their oppressors. God’s angel said to Manoah’s wife,

“For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.” (Judges 13:5 NKJV).

The child was born and he was named Samson. He grew up to become a judge in Israel, and God anointed him with extraordinary strength. He killed a lion with his bare hands, and he also killed 1000 enemies with a jawbone of a donkey. When thirsty after a battle, Samson prayed to God for water supply– and God answered him instantly. Jehovah used an earthquake to shift earth formations, and the faults instantly gushed out water for Samson to drink – so that he could quench his thirst.

the word

God’s Wonders Is Like None Other

As far as God is concerned, wonders shall never end! He will perform wonders through his anointed servants, and he will ensure that his name is praised throughout the world. Meanwhile, God’s servants are to understand that His selections are not made by the virtue of their righteousness. God who calls, has his own special reasons for awarding specific talents and grace to anyone. Therefore, all servants of God must be humble and be careful not to abuse his grace and talents.

Prayer For Grace To Experience His Wonders

Dear God, please do not let your wonders cease in my life. Let me obtain your grace so that I can be selected for special assignments that would glorify your name throughout the world. Once I am anointed, please keep me humble so that I can be used immensely. This way your name can be glorified more than ever before. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

HUMILITY IS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR FOR SERVING AS A CHRISTIAN – Job

humility

True Believers Of Christ Should Embody His Humble Trait

(Passage: Job 1)

Job, in the Bible, was a rich man who portrayed a godly example for all wealthy people to emulate. Job could be described as a billionaire of his time, yet he did not allow his wealth to distract him from being a righteous person. Job served God faithfully, as the Bible reported;

“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil. And seven sons and three daughters were born to him. Also, his possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very large household, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the East. And his sons would go and feast in their houses, each on his appointed day, and would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly” (Job 1:1-5).

the word

Humility Is Deeply Connected To Receive God’s Blessings

God does not hate the rich people; he loves both poor and rich people alike. Anyone (irrespective of his or her status), who faithfully serves the Lord will receive his favor. Rich people ought to learn how to be godly from Job in the Bible (Job 1:1-5). The man was humble, and he complied with the laws of God throughout his life. Job also taught his children how to fear and faithfully serve God. Job prayed for his children and ask for their forgiveness.

Meanwhile, besides the fact that Job was godly and raised in a righteous family, he also humbly related to both his neighbors and his servants. There was no record that Job mistreated anyone around him. In fact, Job’s lifestyle was so pure to the extent that it caught the attention of God in heaven!

Christians must understand that it is not sinful to desire riches, but it is sinful to desire riches with a wrongful mindset. Christians who desire to be successful on earth must assess his or her motivation, whether it is godly or not. The question we should ask ourselves is; is the motivation for riches based on an attempt to gratify worldly desires, or it is based on an attempt to glorify God?

Christians’ pursuit of success must be solely based on positive perception. It must be based on the goal to satisfy God and benefit the lives of others! A Christian whose heart is pure will receive God’s blessings beyond his or her wildest dream!

Humility – The real virtue for the Christians!

ISRAELITES REBELLED AND GOD SOLD THEM OUT – Jeremiah

God's grace

Christians Must Not Take God’s Grace For Granted

(Jeremiah 25)

God’s grace has a limit! God declared his judgments on the people of Judah and Israel for abusing the privilege he earned them. The people of Judah and Israel took God for granted and persisted in their sins despite his warnings. God reminded the rebels of their failures and pronounced his punishment on them. God said,

“‘Repent now everyone of his evil way and his evil doings, and dwell in the land that the Lord has given to you and your fathers forever and ever. Do not go after other gods to serve them and worship them, and do not provoke me to anger with the works of your hands; and I will not harm you.’ Yet you have not listened to me,” says the Lord, “that you might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt. “Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Because you have not heard My words, behold, I will send and take all the families of the north,’ says the Lord, ‘and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, against its inhabitants, and against these nations all around, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, a hissing, and perpetual desolations” (Jeremiah 25:5-9).

grace lesson

God’s Grace Has A Limit

God is merciful, but his mercy has a limit. Anyone who aims at taking God for granted may be playing a risky game since God cannot be predicted. Jehovah can decide to take an action when a person has least expected; therefore, it is better to appropriately behave before him.

Everyone has the choice to establish a consistent relationship with God and enjoy his benefits.

A person who makes the choice to build a steady relationship with God won’t regret it. Such person will be automatically positioned to earn God’s unlimited benefits.

A person who thinks he can play a dirty trick on God by offering him a lip service and keep a secret sin will regret in the end. Sooner or later, God will catch up with the person and severe him with some punishments. Besides, God has designated a special day to judge all the hypocrites and haul them to hellfire. Anyone who dilly dally in faith should not hesitate to repent and repair his or her relationship with God.

Pray To Stand Upright With God

Dear God, please do not let me abuse your grace in my life. Don’t let me take you for granted. Let the Holy Spirit empower me to honor you and obey your laws. Give me the grace to maintain a steady relationship with you in every day of my life. For in your name Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen!

SEXUAL SIN IRRITATES GOD – 1 THESSALONIANS

holy

Human Body Is Temple Of The Holy Spirit

(Passage: 1 Thessalonians 4)

God commanded his children to abstain from the practices of fornication and adultery so that he can bless them. Since God is holy, anyone who desires to satisfy his standard must be holy as well. A person who maintains the sanity of his body to honor God will prosper in this life and in heaven. It is written in the scripture,

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness” (1 Thessalonians 4:3-7 NKJV).

word of God

Believers Must Keep Their Body Pure

The practices of fornication and adultery are sinful; they irritate God, therefore believers must desist from them. People who engage in a sexual sin must also understand that the practices corrupt their bodies – Which is considered as the temple of Holy Spirit.

The scripture emphasized that human body is God’s temple, and it must be kept pure at all times (1 Corinthians 6:19). Anyone who prioritizes holiness will receive a special attention from God and be blessed.

prayer

Pray For God’s Grace To Be Holy

Dear God, I understand that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which I must keep pure at all times. I am sorry for any immoral activity that I have engaged in the past. I repent from them and I promise to start living a holy life before you. Please give me the grace and power to meet your expectations. Keep me qualified for your earthly and heavenly benefits. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

CHRISTIAN: BE CAREFUL OF FALSE TEACHERS – 2 JOHN

false teachers

False Teachers Will Deceive Many People

Some false teachers will rise during the period of the end time to deceive many people. Christians must ensure not to fall victim of those fake leaders.

In most cases, the deceptive teachers do not declare their identities; they camouflage as agents of light to manipulate people for their selfish gains.

False teachers will rob people of money and materials. They will also cause many people to lose their salvation and be doomed in hellfire.

Folks who believe false teachings run the risk of losing their souls to Satan and end up in hellfire. The scripture warned,

“I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully” (2 John 1:7-8 NIV).

end time

Watch Out For Fake Religion Leaders

Christians are warned to be careful and not fall victim of preachings that are not consistent with the standard of the Bible. Believers are advised to be in friendship with their Bible. They must read it diligently! They must study the scripture with a mindset to have a better understanding of God’s laws and comply with them.

Christians must ensure not to believe any theory that lacks the basis of the Bible. We must be prayerful and be disciplined to uphold the principles of the Bible.

Believers must not go with the wave of accommodating the unbiblical (but convenient) theories that our society celebrate. Christians must not allow the cares of this world to cause us to lose our salvation that Christ suffered to earn for us.

God will bless any Christian that stands firm with the testimony of Jesus Christ and complies with Bible standard. Jehovah will reward his faithful children with an imperishable crown of glory in his kingdom.

prayer

Pray For The Strength To Be Watchful

Dear God, Please save me from the deceptive teachers that manipulate people into losing their salvation. Help me to comply with the standard of your word. Enable me with the strength to daily read my Bible so that I can better understand your laws and comply with them. Let my devotion be meaningful to you, and please keep my feet firm within thy gate O Lord! Let me remain steadfast before you so that I can qualify for an imperishable crown of glory in your kingdom! For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

GOD PLACED ISRAELITES ON CONDITIONAL FREEDOM – Leviticus

idol worship

Christians Must Fully Obey God To Have His Full Blessing

Passage: Leviticus 26

Israelites were free from the Egyptians’ bondage but their freedom had terms and conditions. God who delivered the Israelites from their Egyptians’ oppression placed then under a strict term that they must comply with his laws to continue enjoying the benefit of their freedom. Jehovah emphasized that the people must fully desist from idolatry.

God reiterated to the people of Israel that their deliverance would be a thing of the past if they serve an idol. God stated,

“You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the Lord your God” (Leviticus 26:1).

God promised to bless Israelites his people if they serve him with full devotion and desist from any form of idol worship. God stated as quoted,

“If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land. You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you. Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you. For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm my covenant with you. You shall eat the old harvest, and clear out the old because of the new. I will set my tabernacle among you, and my soul shall not abhor you. I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be my people” (Leviticus 26:3-12).

Jehovah also reiterated, through Moses, the impending judgment that would befall the Israelites should they engage in idolatry. He stated,

“And after all these, if you do not obey me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. I will break the pride of your power; I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze. And your strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not yield its produce, nor shall the trees of the land yield their fruit” (Leviticus 26:18-20).

A Christian Must Not Serve An Idol

Any Christian who wants to prosper on earth and also qualify for heaven must not engage in an idol worship. An idol worshiper will not have his or her name written in God’s book of life! God is the only supreme deity that is worthy of our worship. All people must submit to his feet and reverence him with sincere worship.

God is Jehovah; he does not want anyone to equate him with an idol. He does not want anyone to share the glory due to his name with an idol. The Creator will do everything necessary to protect the integrity of his name!

Jehovah requires complete obedience from his children so that he can bless them. Children of God must understand that God cannot be deceived. He knows all things; he knows a person that faithfully serves him, and he knows who does not.

Christians must abide by the laws of God to obtain God’s benefits. Each believer must understand that God has his yardstick of punishment for every sinner unless repentance is exercised! God will not relent until he has properly corrected any of his children that engage in idolatry. It is therefore important that every child of God stays away from idol worship. Every believer must give God an undivided attention and serve him wholeheartedly.

Pray For Grace To Abide By God’s Rule

Dear God, please plant your fear in my heart and help me to serve you wholeheartedly. Empower me by the Holy Spirit to meet your holiness standard! Please guide my thoughts and actions so that I can live a pure life before you! Give me the ability to repent from my sin whenever I make a mistake. Help me to exercise a genuine repentance so that you can be happy with me! Please Help me to be conscious of your laws and empower me to meet your holiness expectation so that I can remain worthy of your eternal kingdom! For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

CHRISTIANS TO LIVE EXEMPLARY LIVES – Philippians

good example

Christian Must Be Moral and Portray a Good Example

Passage: Philippians 4

Christians are required to be honest in their relationship with God; they must be godly role models that are suitable for other people to emulate. Christians must understand that unbelievers are watching our behaviors to derive motivation for serving God. Believers must not fail our due diligence of positively influencing the unbelievers and leading them to become God’s worshipers. The scripture emphasized,

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things” (Philippians 4:8).

exemplary

Believers to Serve God with Pure Motives

Christians must serve God with a pure motive and portray a godly example for other people to emulate. Christians’ services must satisfy God. Our practices must motivate other people to love and serve God as well. Christians must understand that we have an obligation to live the exemplary lifestyle for other people to emulate (especially the unbelievers).

Despite the need to meet the pious obligation of faithfully serving God and leading others with godly examples, Christians still face the reality of being powerless without the help of the Holy Spirit. Believers will not have enough strength to adequately meet the mandate to be a true ambassador of Jesus Christ. Christians, like other humans, have weak nature that cannot easily comply with the standard of God. We must rely on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to adequately serve God and positively influence others.

To have the ability to faithfully serve God and offer godly leadership for other people, Christians must daily pray to receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God will also offer us divine guidance to make an appropriate decision and honor God. The Holy Spirit will indeed properly guide and aid us in meeting the standard of God which include an ability to faithfully serve him on earth and befit his kingdom.

Christians should consider it an important matter to pray for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to meet God’s requirements and appropriately serve him.

Ask God to make you a good example for other people to emulate. May you ever remain a true ambassador of Jesus Christ!

Prayer for God’s Grace to be a Good Example for Others

Dear God, please I need the help of the Holy Spirit to be a good Christian that faithfully represents you on earth. Let your divine Holy Spirit guide me to live in compliance with the Bible standard so that I can prosper! Please let me be a good example for other people to emulate. Also, let my services bring glory unto your name and ever keep me worthy of your eternal kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

CHURCH LEADERS MUST BE GOOD EXAMPLES – Titus

example

Gospel Ministers Must Represent Christ Well

Passage: Titus 2

Gospel ministers are required to be good examples. They must teach and lead other people to properly serve God. They must be good stewards of Jesus Christ for other people to emulate. Apostle Paul instructed Titus to be a good steward of Christ as he instructed Titus,

“But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things—that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you” (Titus 2:1-8).

Christians Have Obligations to Lead by Example

People who serve God in any capacity have an obligation to be godly examples. Every gospel minister must live a lifestyle that is suitable for other people to emulate. However, not only the church leaders are required to be good representatives of Jesus Christ. All Christians without an exception are charged to faithfully serve God and be good examples for the world to see!

Believers throughout the world must ensure to live in compliance with the laws of God that are stipulated in the Bible. We must not emulate any ungodly view, even if our society consider them as appropriate. Every Christian must consider it a priority to faithfully serve God in holiness.

Pray for the Ability to be True Representative of Jesus

Dear God, please help me to be your good steward in speech and in character. Help me to diligently study your word so that I can clearly understand your view in all matters. Empower me through the Holy Spirit to live up to your expectations, and let your light shine through me for the unbelievers to emulate. Please let my life become a living proof of your integrity in order to motivate unbelievers to serve you! For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

GOD REVEALED THE SECRETS OF END TIME – Daniel

end time

The Present Earth And Heaven Will Go Into Extinction

(Passage: Daniel 12)

God revealed the secret of end time to Daniel.  Daniel learned from the revelation that God will soon judge the dwellers of this present earth and haul the planet to a place called Hellfire. God will send the wicked people on earth to hell (an everlasting place of punishment). Meanwhile, Jehovah will reward the people who have lived godly on earth.

People who have lived in obedience to the commandments of God on earth will receive the gift of everlasting life in heaven.

Daniel explained his God-given revelation of end time,

“At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever” (Daniel 12:1-3).

heaven

Factual Lessons of End Time

End Time – An irreversible season!

God will judge the dwellers of this present earth at his own appointed time. He will send the ungodly people to hellfire but send the godly people to heaven.

The Almighty God will destroy the planet earth at his own appointed time. He will exonerate his faithful children during judgment and send them to heaven. (The escape process of God’s saints is called rapture.)

Unfortunately, people who have failed to faithfully serve God and those who have refused to confess their faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God will be regarded as wicked people and be judged alongside the planet earth.

According to the book of Daniel and book of Revelation, God will create a new earth (and a new heaven) that will host his saints. God’s people – Those who have served God well on earth and have confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior – will qualify for the new plant.

Jehovah will allow the dwellers of his new planet earth to have access to an unlimited peace, joy, and prosperity. God’s saints will enjoy his maximum benefits eternally!

The Call For Repentance

God does not lie; his words will come to pass as scheduled. It is therefore important that all people prepare for the inevitable judgment of God to come on the planet earth. People who are willing to escape God’s punishment of hellfire should not hesitate to repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

A word is enough for the wise! Whoever intends to go to heaven must not hesitate to repent of his or her sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord. God’s indescribable benefits will immediately become available for the person in heaven.

prayer of grace

Pray for Grace to Escape Hell and Befit Heaven

Dear God, please count me worthy of your eternal kingdom. I understand that you will soon judge this world and send the unrepentant sinners to hellfire. I don’t want to go to hellfire; therefore, I confess my sins and repent of them. I also confess my faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and resurrected from the grave to grant me the gift of eternal life. I declare that I will start to faithfully serve God from today, and I will do this for the rest of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

ONE DISRESPECTFUL CHIEF PAID A DIRE CONSEQUENCE – 2 Kings

disrespect

People Must Honor God’s Servants

(Passage: 2 Kings 7)

One Israelite’s chief paid a dire consequence for being disrespectful to Prophet Elisha over his prophecy. A prolonged famine had plagued the land of Israel at the time, but Elisha showed up and prophesied that God would avert the terrible situation overnight. The chief who heard the prophecy mocked the man of God (Elisha); however, the aftermath was not funny. Elisha uttered a statement that reshaped everyone’s thinking as he furthered stated that the man who mocked his prophecy would die for his behavior. The Bible reported Elisha’s prophecy, the chief’s response, and the aftermath consequence.

“Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord: ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.’” So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “Look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” And he said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.” (2 Kings 7:1-2).

Christians To Honor Their Pastors

Christians have an obligation to honor the servants of God, for especially those who labor over their souls. The servants of God are guided by the Holy Spirit to serve as God’s mouthpiece; believers must relate to them with faith and follow their instructions.

The Bible states that whoever believes the word of a prophet shall be blessed. (2 Chronicles 20:20). That is, someone who believes any spiritual utterance (prophecy) that is stated by a man or woman of God will be rewarded for his faith. (Of course, the prophecy has to be in compliance with the Bible!) A person who acts in faith based on the utterances that are inspired by the Holy Spirit will propers. The person’s faith and action will turn to become his blessing.

Pray for Ability to Respect Your Spiritual Leaders

Dear God, I believe that you still lead people by the Holy Spirit. You lead your servants through the Holy Spirit to minister to their people. Please help me to respect your servants. Let me operate in faith and honor them as they perform their spiritual activities. Give me the ability to support your servants as they labor to bear positive fruits for your kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
