YOUR PRAYER CAN MOVE ANY MOUNTAIN – Psalm

prayer

God Hears and Answers His Children’s Prayer

(Passage: Psalm 57)

Children of God must have confidence in God and be sure that he will answer their prayers. Indeed, God is not deaf and he is not wicked. He will appropriately respond to our petitions when we call upon him.

God is good at all times. Also, he is neither deaf nor dumb. Anyone who prays to him with the heart of expectation should expect that he will respond.

Of course, God may run a schedule of operation that is different from ours, but be rest assured that he will always provide you a perfect solution to any problem.

Indeed, God has the power to answer any prayer. He is the Creator of the universe, and he has all powers to do and undo any situation.

People who call unto God in prayer must trust that he will respond. That is, never give up your confidence in God!

Believers should learn from King David in the Bible, who did not allow any situation to negatively influence his prayer life.

David, the servant of God, refused to rely on any man’s help when he fell into a crisis; he cried to God for help, and Jehovah reciprocated his prayer of faith with a decisive victory.

During a crisis, David prayed,

“Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in you; And in the shadow of your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by. I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me. He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. God shall send forth His mercy and His truth” (Psalm 57:1-3).

Prayers Are Expressive and Prompt God To Act

Never underestimate the importance of prayer!

No better tool for Christians than prayer and Bible study. Prayer is a very important tool that we must explore for our everyday use.

Prayer is not all about asking; children of God must bless God when they appear in His presence.

Of course, we must table our requests during prayers, but we must also not forget to appreciate the Lord for all his past benefits in our lives.

However, the most important aspect of this discussion is that Christian must never hesitate to pray to God in any situation!

We must table our requests to the Creator at all times (and in any situation).

Just the final note:

Christians should not just cry to God for the sake of expressing pain during any difficult moment, but we should invite God into our situations  -Who is capable of handling both the present and any future ones that may arise.

Pray for the Ability to Invite God into Your Situation

Dear God, please teach me how to pray! Enable me with the strength to express my feelings in your presence. Also, please, empower me to exercise my trust as I pray.

Help me to make consistent prayer as my daily practice. Let me experience the benefit of an answered prayer so that I can testify to your goodness in the land of the living. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

GOD HATES SIN; COVET HOLINESS AND STAY STRONG – Zechariah

sin

God’s Children Must Abstain From Sin And Focus On Righteousness

Passage: Zechariah 2

God withdrew his defense from the Israelites because they refused to repent from their sins.

However, the Creator promised to reinstate his relationship with them if they repent.

Jehovah promised to forgive the Israelites’ sin and punish their oppressors should they consider repentance.

God promised to severely deal with enemy nations that took advantage of the Israelites’ negative circumstances.

God stated through his prophet,

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake my hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants.

…Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me. “Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,” says the Lord. “Many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall become my people.

…And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. And the Lord will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem.

…Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!” (Zechariah 2:8-16).

Sin Is Awful; God Forgives Genuine Repentant Sinners

God is tough on sin; he does not condone it and would punish whoever refuses to repent from his or her sins.

Meanwhile, at the same time, Jehovah, who is caring and forgiving, will forgive any offense that is committed should an act of repentance be exercised.

Our gracious God will kindly deal with anyone who repents of his sins and seeks his forgiveness.

That is, a person who is humble enough to say “sorry” for his mistakes will obtain God’s mercy and be forgiven.

No sin is too big for God to forgive. He will forgive our iniquities no matter the magnitude. The only condition he asks is repentance!

People who repent from their sins will enjoy their benefits. He will give them his salvation and write their names in his Book of Life.

Jehovah will watch over repentant sinners and satisfy them with many benefits. However, everyone must understand that God does not entertain casual repentance.

No playing games with God, he wants a repentant sinner to be serious before him.

Jehovah does not want us to indulge in any sin that we have repented of.

God wants us to build a steady relationship with him so that he can continue to bless us.

It is, therefore, important that all God’s children (who have repented from their sins) maintain an honest and consistent relationship with God.

Children of God must be diligent and serve him with full devotion so that we can prosper!

Anyone who has not reached the state of repentance of sin should not hesitate; he needs to take an action, since much benefits would be derived in the process.

Anyone whom God’s Spirit convicts of sin should humbly submit to God and say “sorry.”

A repentant sinner should declare Jesus Christ as Lord, because through him alone can forgiveness and salvation be obtained.

There is much joy to obtain from Jesus Christ. He is the author of life, and he will give it to whoever comes to him with a humble heart.

Believe in Jesus Christ. Confess your sins in his name to obtain forgiveness and salvation, which means that you will obtain the gift of eternal life.

Pray For Forgiveness Of Sin

Dear God, I dedicate my complete life to you today. I am sorry for my sins, and I repent from them. I promise to start living a new life of holiness before you.

…I declare your Son Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, and I promise to serve him throughout the days of my life. Please write my name in your Book of Life, and keep me worthy of your eternal kingdom.

…For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests.

Amen.

Remember: God Hates Sin; Covet Holiness and Stay Strong

Dear God, please help me to love you dearly and help me to obey your instructions so that I can prosper. Let serving you be a convenient task for me!

…Give me the grace to resist the temptation of disobedience. Please, don’t let Satan take advantage of me; let the Holy Spirit empower and guide me so that I can prosper in every aspect of my life and also qualify for your kingdom.

For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests.

Amen.
