HOLINESS IS THE BASIC STANDARD OF GOD – Exodus

God Requires His Children To Comply With His Holiness Standard

God ordered Moses to specially decorate his priest in a fashion that glorified his name. Moses must ensure that the robes of the priests are legibly inscribed with “HOLINESS TO THE LORD”. The Bible stated,

“And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons, And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen, And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the Lord commanded Moses. And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, Holiness To The Lord. And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the Lord commanded Moses.” (Exodus 39:27-31 KJV).

Holiness Means Everything To God

God who is holy also expects his children to be holy. Christians’ services must be holy so that they can be acceptable to God.

God-The Creator will not accept anything short of purity from anyone! Everyone, including those who are commissioned with some special assignments, must satisfy the holiness standard of God.

Any service that a person renders to God out of an impure heart will not be acceptable in his presence. For a service to be acceptable to God, it must come from a pure heart. Meanwhile, not only will God reject an impure service, he will also reject an impure person.

Any service that a person renders to God out of an impure heart will not be acceptable in his presence.

Whoever does not meet the holiness standard of God will not be accepted to his kingdom on the last day.

The Bible emphasized, “Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14 NIV).

Pray For Strength To Meet God’s Holiness Standard

Dear God, please help me to live a pure life before you so that both my work and I can be acceptable in your presence. Do not let me contaminate myself with an impure practice; let the Holy Spirit empower me to serve you in holiness so that I can befit your kingdom and forever rejoice in your presence in heaven. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen. => Subscribe here.
