Christians Must Trust God To Deliver Them Always
(Passage: Exodus 5)
God’s plans can be sometimes unfathomable, but they are surely for our good! To learn about this, let’s consider a scenario that appeared as if God folded his arms and allowed things to go against his will. God promised the Israelites that he would make them live free to enjoy his blessing, but things proved otherwise for them in Egypt. Instead of freedom, the people experienced bondage. In fact, the situation went further south when Moses made an effort to mediate in the situation.
Moses asked for freedom of the Israelites, but King Pharaoh frowned at the request, and instead doubled their problem.
King Pharaoh was upset with Moses and his people for asking for their freedom. The king asked his servant to multiply the people’s punishment.
As anyone can imagine, Moses was at the center of the problem for mediating in a situation that could introduce the reinstatement of God’s plan.
The people blamed Moses for their hardship.
Although all odds stacked again the Israelites and it appeared people have started to doubt God’s plans for their lives, God was not moved. He knew what he was doing even though humans were blindsided.
As the people pointed some accusative fingers at each other and largely blamed Moses for their dilemma, God’s plan was also about to materialize.
God- The Creator- was determined to set his children free from the Egyptians’ bondage.
Meanwhile, the scripture explained how the people raged at Moses as they were ignorant of God’s plans. The Bible reported,
“Afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.’” And Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go.”
… Then the king of Egypt said to them, “Moses and Aaron, why do you take the people from their work? Get back to your labor.” And Pharaoh said, “Look, the people of the land are many now, and you make them rest from their labor!”
…So the same day Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters of the people and their officers, saying, “You shall no longer give the people straw to make brick as before. Let them go and gather straw for themselves. And you shall lay on them the quota of bricks which they made before. You shall not reduce it…” (Exodus 5:1-9).
God’s Plans Will Remain For His Children, Regardless Any Odd!
God is supreme, and his mode of operations cannot be predicted unless he reveals his plan. However, no matter what type of miracle that the Creator chooses to adopt, his ultimate goal will always be to favor his children.
God’s plans are ever alive for us!
Jehovah will do whatever is necessary to defend the interest of his people and defeat their foes. Christians must trust God in dire situations and earnestly wait to receive his help.
God’s plans for his children are always good. Pressure may mount during a difficult situation, but Christians must be resolute in their faith, as God will never forsake his own people.
The God that we serve will respond in due time to meet our needs, as we express immovable faith in him.
Jehovah will meet our needs and also, cause us to laugh so that we can praise his name.
Learn to have trust in God’s plan for your life and every form of struggle will come to a swift end.
