Seek God’s Presence; Cry For His Help During Trial
Passage: Psalm 88
There might come a time when your heart is desperate, and it’s hard to simply say a quick soft prayer. You are more likely to cry out with passion. The Lord promises to hear. He is not too weak to save you or too deaf to hear your cry. He hears your cries in time of need and responds.
A psalmist found himself in trouble, and he vented his aggravation to God in prayer. He prayed;
“Lord, you are the God who saves me; day and night I cry out to you. May my prayer come before you; turn your ear to my cry. I am overwhelmed with troubles and my life draws near to death” (Psalm 88:1-3).
God Will Always Hear The Humble Cries Of His Children
Like it or not, Christians are not living in a problem-free world; stressful moments are bound to come; however, we are not without a solution. God is the solution! Therefore, we cannot afford to handle stressful situations in an ungodly manner.
No matter what temptations and challenges that might come our way, we must consult God first and let him lead us into making necessary decisions. The Creator will surely respond to our needs during distress; He will answer our prayers and help us emerge victoriously.
Pray For Assistance
Dear God, I have realized that you are the only one who has enough power to handle every difficult situation. I know you can help, and you will help me. Therefore, I ask you to give me the grace to call on you during a crisis. Teach me how to pray and help me to demonstrate faith! Let every meditation of my heart receive your favorable answer, and help me live longer to enjoy your benefits in the land of the living. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.
