God’s Miracles will be Available for Believers
Passage: Ezra 1
One gentile king was inspired to sponsor the reconstruction of God’s Temple in Jerusalem. The king who had an idolatry background allowed God to inspire and use him for the good course. The king’s name is Cyrus, and he ruled the Persia Empire. King Cyrus encouraged the Jews to return to their homeland and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. However, not only did King Cyrus mobilized and sent them to their ancient City of Jerusalem, he also asked the people of his empire to support the Jews. He instructed his people to provide both material and financial support for the Jewish project. The scripture reported,
“Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, (he is the God) which is in Jerusalem. And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem” (Ezra 1:1-4).
God’s Power will Favor Christians
God has the divine ability to rally support for his children. No one is out of the radar of God’s usage for his good courses! In fact, God can even use an enemy to benefit his children! Jehovah has the autonomous power to use both kings and servants alike for the sake of glorifying his name in the lives of his children. Based on the significant fact that God is able to do all things to assist his children, Christians must exercise their trust in him!
Christians are the children of God. We are the people of his apple eyes. That is, Jehovah will take care of us even when a situation arises to tempt us into doubting him. Christians must not doubt God; we must trust in him at all times. Believers must be confident that God is exceedingly and abundantly able to do all things for our benefits. Of course, the call to trust God does not mean that a Christian should fold his hands in idleness! Every child of God still has an obligation to actively engage his or her task as he or she expects God’s miracle! People who actively trust in God will receive his help. The Creator will manifest his power to assist his diligent children now, and always!
God’s help will be sufficient for his faithful children.
God has the autonomous power to use any situation for the purpose of benefiting his children and to glorify his name. Click to tweet
