GOD NEVER FAILS HIS FAITHFUL SERVANTS – Psalms

Children Of God Must Serve God Faithfully To Earn His Blessings

(Passage: Psalm 92)

The promises of God will forever come to pass for people who faithfully serve him. His eyes are always on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with him.

When you are faithful, the Lord will establish you and guard you against the evil one. The Creator will bless his faithful children with all good things of life.

He preserves the faithful and fully repays the proud person. This is proven, as the scripture stated,

“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing” (Psalm 92:12-14).

serve God

Everyone Who Is Faithful To God Will Be Rewarded

A person who faithfully serves God has nothing to lose because he will surely have every good thing of life to gain.

The more we serve God, the better our lives will become. God will reward our faithfulness by opening doors of blessings in our lives.

He will lavish us with his benefits so that other people can be motivated to serve him also.

Pray For Divine Help To Be Faithful and Serve God Wholeheartedly

Dear God, please give me the grace to faithfully serve you always, so that I can be qualified to receive your benefits.

SATAN ALWAYS TEMPTS CHRISTIANS TO DERAIL THEM – Luke

Christians: Be Vigilant And Prayerful To Overcome Satan’s Temptations

(Passage: Luke 6)

The Pharisees camouflage under their religion to criticize Jesus.

They were Jealous of Jesus’ ministry and would seize any opportunity to rage at him. The Pharisees did not relent in stalking Jesus all day long.

They were eager to find an excuse to criticize and demean his ministry.

The Bible reported some of the Pharisees’ actions,

“Now it happened on the second Sabbath after the first that He (Jesus) Went through the grain fields. And His disciples plucked the heads of grain and ate them, rubbing them in their hands.

…And some of the Pharisees said to them, “Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?” The scripture also reported, “Now it happened on another Sabbath, also, that He entered the synagogue and taught.

…And a man was there whose right hand was withered. So the scribes and Pharisees watched Him closely, whether He would heal on the Sabbath, that they might find an accusation against Him” (Luke 6:6-7) (Luke 6:1-2).

The Footsteps of Jesus Will Help Us Overcome Satan’s Temptation

Satan loves to station his evil agents around the people of God in a bid to frustrate their efforts.

The enemies always focus on making attempts to derail believers from their pursuits of righteousness.

They do this by castigating their works and throwing every available stone at them while hoping one might stick.

Therefore, to overcome the enemy (the devil), Christians must be spiritually sensitive (watchful) and prayerful.

They must, also, be filled with the Holy Spirit always.

Meanwhile, believers must not forget that Satan’s intention is not just to discourage them from serving God only; his prime goals are to kill, steal, and destroy their salvation (according to John 10:10).

Hence, children of God must remain prayerful and watchful.

Christians should imbibe Jesus’ actions towards the opposition and react appropriately in all situations.

For example, when Satan instigated fury in the Pharisees to waylay Jesus, he did the following:

  • Jesus ignored the Pharisees – Believers should largely ignore their critics.
  • Jesus remained persistent in doing God’s business –Believers should never stop doing God’s will.
  • Jesus always withdrew to a silent place to pray for the renewal of his strengths after ministering –Believers must always refill and refresh their energy through prayers.
  • Jesus changed locations to avoid enemies’ distractions –Believers should diversify in ministry to outsmart their enemies.

Pray For The Power To Conquer The Devil’s Temptations

Dear God, please give me the strength to overcome Satan and live triumphantly on earth, while glorifying your holy name!

…Again, give me the strength to remain focused and pay no attention to the devil and his evil agents! Let your Holy Spirit empower me to remain immovable, and to keep serving you faithfully during opposition and challenges.

…Also, let your Holy Spirit empower me to be watchful and prayerful so that I can keep prospering in all my activities. When my earthly race is over, let me appear in your presence in heaven to hear the word “well-done and welcome my servant to the joy of your Lord!” For in the name of Jesus Christ I have prayed.

Amen.

BEWARE: THE LAST DAYS TRIBULATIONS ARE IMMINENT – Revelation

revelation

Do Away With Sin To Avoid Falling Into Tribulations

(Passage: Revelation 8)

Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God opened the seven seals in heaven, and the seventh seal unfolded the great tribulations that would befall earth inhabitants after the rapture.

The 7th seal has 7 trumpets that were blown separately. The 1st through 4th trumpets invoked great damages to the earth, to the extent that God’s angel bitterly lamented in heaven.

The scripture described,

“Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.

…And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!” (Revelation 8:12-13).

tribulations

Chances Are Still Available To Be Saved From Tribulations

In the last days, earth’s inhabitants will suffer greater tribulations than they have ever experienced from inception. God will shake the universe and prove his sovereignty over it.

The pro-end-time tribulations will cause the earth’s inhabitants to shudder in fear; however, God’s children would be shielded from the tribulations, because Jesus Christ would have raptured them to heaven.

Faithful followers of Jesus Christ would be with God in heaven, while those left would be stranded to suffer great tribulations with Satan.

Hence, it is important that everyone on earth repents and proclaim Christ as Lord – without wasting time – in order to escape the horrific event that is about to take place.

Since Christ will revisit the earth without prior notice, everyone (without exception) should grab any salvation moment that he or she may have to be saved. (Revelation 16:15).

judgement

Pray For Divine Help To Be Saved From The Tribulations

Dear God, please save me from the tribulations that the earth’s inhabitants are about to experience.

I want to be raptured before the horrific event takes place; therefore, I declare that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and he is the Savior of the world. He died for the sinners to save them.

…I thereby confess him (Jesus Christ) as my personal Lord and Savior. I give him my complete life, and I promise to faithfully serve him throughout the days of my life.

…Please let me remain qualified for your eternal home. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

Abraham; A Faith Giant

abraham

The Bible tells us about some great men who have lived before us. Those we can call supermen, because of the type of mighty deeds they wrought. One of such men is Abraham, the friend of God.

The book Bible Giants of Faith, in its first chapter, relates to us the life of Abraham and his relationship with God.

Truly, Abraham was the friend of God. But he didn’t get to that stage by chance. At the time when he was 75 years old, God promised him that He would make him the father of nations.

Imagine, a man without a son received a promise that he would father nations. At 75, for that matter! He didn’t see how this was going to be possible due to his advancing age.

This is just one of the many ‘almost-impossible’ promises and instructions he received from God.

At a time, God appeared to him and asked him to leave his land for another land that He would show him, with a promise of a blessing.

Abraham believed God’s words and left his native land with his wife, Sarah, and his nephew, Lot.

Despite all these promises and instructions, things were not always well with Abraham.

He was also not seeing the promise of a blessing coming to pass in his life. The worst of Abraham’s problems was that he did not have a child.

He was a very old man, and Sarah, his wife, was old and past the childbearing stage.

In the book Bible Giants of Faith, we see that despite all the problems that the man Abraham faced, he never doubted God.

He continued to live with the trust that God would not fail him and would keep his promises.

Not too long, the promises of God started manifesting in his life.

God fulfilled His promise of a son to Abraham when he was one hundred years old, and Sarah, his wife, was ninety years old.

But then God came again with His test. He tested Abraham’s faith after the birth of Isaac; God asked him to sacrifice his trueborn heir, Isaac. Imagine that!

Abraham- Tested and Passed!

After all the years Abraham had waited before he could have a son, God asked him to sacrifice the son.

Despite not knowing that it was a test, Abraham obeyed, without questioning God, and he passed the test.

faith

For Abraham’s numerous obedience, not just that God promised him innumerable blessings, they all came to pass.

He told him that just as it was impossible for anyone to be able to count the stars in the sky, so would it be impossible for anyone to count his descendants.

This is exactly the way God wants us to have total faith in Him. And as we do this, His numerous promises will be ours to enjoy.

GOD’S PRINCIPLES MUST BE THE GUIDE FOR A MINISTER – Ezekiel

minister

Genuine Ministers Must Follow God’s Teachings To Properly Promote Gospel

(Passage: Ezekiel 33)

Gospel ministers are to follow biblical principles and properly lead other people. Gospel ministers must motivate all people to faithfully serve God.

A gospel minister who fails to adequately occupy his position and serve God well will not go scot-free.

God emphasized through Ezekiel’s prophecy that he would punish unfaithful servants. Ezekiel prophesied,

“When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

…Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul” (Ezekiel 33:8-9).

God Will Bless A Genuine Minister That Promotes The Truth

Gospel ministers are held in high standards by God. They are endowed with the authority to bind and loose in all situations.

In fact, Jesus stated that his servants would do the impossibilities for the sake of his glory. However, God’s servants have a high responsibility that accompanies their portfolio.

They have a huge price to pay for their honor.

God’s servants who are held with high honor are also, held with higher standards of accountability.

Jehovah oversees their activities. A servant of God who disobeys God will pay a heavy punishment for his action.

God’s servants are expected to fear God.

They must not succumb to influences that can make them compromise their standards.

The servants of God must preach the undiluted word of God to promote God’s kingdom.

For example, no servant of God is expected to submit to a politician.

Also, no gospel minister should be fondly associated with a prostitute.

In addition, no servant of God is allowed to abuse his or her authority. He must deal with everyone fairly.

More importantly, every servant of God is commissioned to preach a specific area of the undiluted word of God.

He must speak God’s truth, without any fear of reprise.

It is important for a gospel minister to uphold the fundamental principles that the Bible promotes!

Jehovah, who is the Master of all people has reserved some prestigious honor for his faithful servants.

He will bless and honor them in this life, and the one to

OUR TRUST SHOULD BE ONLY IN GOD – Luke

trust

Christians Must Absolutely Trust God Only; Humans Are Fallible

(Passage: Luke 22)

Christians must understand that the only reliable and trust-worthy being is the Supreme God.

He is the only one that truly cares for you and won’t let you down in times of trouble.

The bible makes us understand that the heart of a man is deceitful and desperately wicked.

Judas Iscariot released himself for the devil’s use; he betrayed Jesus Christ with a kiss.

It is reported,

“And while He was still speaking, behold, a multitude; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him. But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” (Luke 22:47-48).

Human May Fail But God Never Fails

If a close associate like Judas Iscariot could betray Jesus Christ, who else should we trust? (Luke 22:47-48).

It is obvious that our present world has a problem with “Trust.” The world is full of hate and rage; acts of self-centeredness have dominated it from every side!

However, the followers of Jesus Christ still have hope in this present world; we have God’s love that prevails over evil!

We can still look up to God and some fellow believers. Meanwhile, no believer is expected to place absolute trust in a fellow human being.

Complete and absolute trust must be placed in God who remains infallible. God never fails even when people fail us.

A fellow human being may disappoint us, but God will never do!

Pray For Grace To Have Absolute Trust In God

Dear God, please help me to place my absolute faith in you. Help me to love people, but let my absolute trust be placed on you. Let me look up to you for all my needs. I understand and believe that you will send me the necessary people to meet my needs at all times.

…Let my absolute trust be reserved in you at all times so that I can live successfully and happily on earth. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

JESUS DIED FOR FREEDOM – Romans

God Sacrificed His Son For Our Freedom In All Aspects Of Life

Passage: Romans 8

No Christian is expected to live in condemnation after Jesus Christ has set him or her free.

He came to free us from sin through His atoning sacrifice. He paid the death penalty for us, freeing us from death row through His Sacrifice.

Anyone in Christ is no more under the bondage of sin; for who the Son has set free is free indeed. The scripture stated,

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

…For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit” (Romans 8:1-4).

free in Jesus

All Christians Are Free Of Sin Once They Accept Christ

Believers in Jesus Christ are not under the bondage of sin and condemnation, but we have been freed to enjoy the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are no more expected to live in condemnation after we have been saved and received forgiveness of sin.

We are now bonafide Christians qualified to receive God’s benefits through Jesus Christ!

However, Satan the enemy of righteousness has a custom of tempting God’s children into unjust condemnation. He may remind a Christian of his/her past sins after forgiveness.

Meanwhile, if Christ has set us free, we are free indeed! Since we have been born-again in Jesus, we must claim his justification.

Having said all, any Christian who is tempted to remain sad in a forgiven sin must resist the enemy outrightly.

He (or she) must affirm his stands in God by saying,

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death…” (Romans 8:1-4).

Prayer of Grace

Proclaim Freedom from Sin Through Jesus Christ

In the name of Jesus Christ, I am free of condemnation of sin. Jesus Christ has paid the penalty of my sins on the cross. He has washed me clean and made me fit for his kingdom.

…Since I have confessed and repented of my sins, I am no more under the bondage of sin, and neither does the condemnation of sin have power over me anymore.

…Jesus Christ has made me free today, tomorrow, and forever! Hallelujah, I am heaven-bound, and Christ will be my king forever. Amen!

OBEDIENCE TO GOD IS PARAMOUNT FOR RELATIONSHIP -Nehemiah

obedience

God Requires Obedience from His Children

Passage: Nehemiah 10

Jesus loves those who follow and obey His commandment. And because He loves us, His Father in heaven will love us too.

He promised to show Himself and his ways to only those that love him.

You must be able to keep a healthy relationship with God by obeying Him and following his ways.

The exiled Jews who returned to Jerusalem (their homeland) renewed their covenant with God.

They promised to follow God’s rule of marriage, and they also promised to obey his requirement to keep the Sabbath Day holy.

The people said,

“ If the peoples of the land brought wares or any grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we would not buy it from them on the Sabbath, or on a holy day; and we would forego the seventh year’s produce and the exacting of every debt” (Nehemiah 10:31).

Obedient Christians Will Always Have God’s Presence In Their Lives

God is willing to work with any Christian who is determined to serve him well.

He will also, work with a backslidden Christian, who chooses to repent of his sin. Jehovah will accept a repentant sinner in a way that is similar to the story of the Prodigal Son in the Bible (Luke 15:11-32).

A person who repents of his sins, and serves God well will not be condemned on God’s day of judgment.

The person will find his place with God in heaven.

Obedience: Pray For An Obedient Heart

Dear God, please give me a heart that follows your instructions. Help me to humbly repent of my sins and turn a new leaf, so that I can qualify for your kingdom.
