VICTORY AT LAST – JESUS DID IT FOR US! – 1 Peter

victory

Beat Your Chest – Your Victory Is Sure In Jesus

(Passage: 1 Peter 4)

The resurrection victory – What a great privilege we have obtained through the death of Jesus Christ! Jesus paid the ultimate prize on the cross to hand over all the benefits to us at a zero cost.

No one should have an excuse for not taking the full benefits of Jesus’s death and resurrection, but unfortunately, many people are still not tapping into the benefits.

The believers (Those who have believed in Jesus) should not hesitate to utilize the resurrection benefits to their full advantage.

How did we get there? What has Jesus done to bring believers to this junction?

Jesus Christ, innocent but persecuted for his goodwill, persevered all the abuses of the enemies. He suffered for our sins to the point of death.

Christ suffered and used the suffering as a medium to exchange our sins and imperfection for his righteousness. He did all those on the cross through his pain and suffering. Christ did it all for us; as many as will believe in him shall be saved.

Hurray victory at last!

People of faith have the advantage to live freely and happily in this complicated world. What it takes to explore the advantage is a confession of faith in Jesus. That is, anyone who confesses Jesus as Lord will be aided and empowered by the Lord to live a life of an overcomer!

Countless benefits are involved, and besides the priceless salvation to obtained, a person who confesses Jesus as Lord will also have the power to live above the controls of the enemy. Sin and all works of Satan are subject to the power embedded in the confession of faith in Jesus!

Here is our confidence, as stated in the scripture,

“Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries” (1 Peter 4:1-3).

Holy Spirit Constantly Battle Satan For Believers’ Sake

Jesus Christ has engaged in a war against Satan and won victory for his followers; therefore, no child of God should live a defeated life. Satan has lost his battles against us, and now, we must live in victory.

Believers must celebrate victory in God through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Here are undeniable benefits obtained through Jesus:

  1. Believers have the Holy Spirit of God available to help for all exploits.
  2. We can live a pleasant and pleasurable life in the presence of God.
  3. We can live in holiness and be in tune with heaven always.
  4. The Holy Spirit of God can empower us to love people during difficult times.

Holy Spirit energizes us to live victoriously every day of our lives. He (Holy Spirit) also empowers us to bear good fruits for the kingdom of God. Holy Spirit gives us the needed courage to be effective evangelists!

What a victory obtained in Jesus Christ! Indeed, Christians are the most fortunate people on earth. They have a bounty of goodness available at our disposal. They also have plentiful riches waiting for them in heaven.

In stating the obvious, anyone who aspires to live a triumphant life on earth and enjoy heavenly benefits must submit to Jesus Christ and confess him as Lord.

The Prayer of Victory

Hallelujah victory is mine through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! I am a child of God, and I am a victor! The victory of Jesus Christ is my portion, and I will rejoice in the salvation of the Lord Jesus- forever!

Dear God, please baptize me with your Holy Spirit so that I keep be empowered to keep serving you well. Help me to live above sin, and give me the grace to share my faith with others. I believe you will do more than I have requested, for in the name of Jesus Christ I have prayed, Amen!

FACE PERSECUTION? GOD’S REWARD AWAITS – Revelation

persecution

Endure Persecution For Its Benefit

(Passage: Revelation 11)

Persecuted but not forsaken –  Your reward is in heaven if you remain steadfast in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ! Children of God are encouraged to reflect on the Bible’s Book of Revelation that mentioned several times that saints will be persecuted during the end time for the sake of their faith in Jesus Christ.

If you are a child of God, your faith will be tested. You must determine not to allow anything to shift your faith in the sight of any opposition.

Unbelievers and those who have released themselves for devil’s use will persecute Christians. Some will be ignorant of their actions, but they will work to satisfy the desire of the enemy.

When talks on “Persecution”: Some believers would lose their lives, but their efforts will not go unnoticed in the presence of the Lord. They will be rewarded!

During the end time, the enemy will appear to be gaining an upper hand, but that won’t last. God, the most powerful one, will seize Satan’s power and stop his evil works.

Those who endure persecution to keep their faith will be rewarded in the end. Christ will rescue his saints – dead and alive.

People who have died for their faith in Jesus Christ will resurrect on the last day to enjoy an everlasting life with God in heaven.

Endure persecution, and be resolute in your faith.

God cares, and he will continue to care for those who remain firm during persecution.

John mentioned how God stopped Satan’s work in the Book of Revelation:

“Then I was given a measuring stick, and I was told, “Go and measure the Temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers. But do not measure the outer courtyard, for it has been turned over to the nations. They will trample the holy city for 42 months” (Revelation 11:1-2).

Persecution Is Not The Lord, But Jesus Is Lord

There are no other means of resisting the temptation than to be closer to God in reading his words and consistently pray. The word of God keeps the love of God afresh in our hearts. Also, we become stronger as we meditate in the word of God on daily basis.

A similar benefit of gaining strength in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ is to maintain a consistent attitude of prayers. The word of God states, “The prayer of the righteous ones avails much.”

Prayer strengthens our “inner-man”. It also invites the power and presence of God to dominate our lives.

Above all, remember that your faith in Jesus Christ worths more than gold!

Be Steadfast!

If you suffer for the sake of your love and services to God, be expecting that God will reward you back in multiple folds – Both in this life and in heaven also.

Christ, the Savior, will wipe tears from the faces of his children who endure persecution. He will decorate their lives with beauty and honor.

Perhaps, nothing is more important than the fact that God will reward his steadfast children with an imperishable crown of glory in his kingdom!

Steadfast Christians will be honored as God’s princes and princesses in heaven. What a choice prize of steadfastness!

Pray For Strength To Be Steadfast Through Adversity

Dear God, please grant me the grace and power to faithfully serve you throughout the days of my life. Help me to remain steadfast and be committed to you unto the end. Help me to remain confident with the testimony of Jesus Christ. Help me to proclaim the faith in Jesus to glorify your name. Please empower me with your Holy Spirit to remain fit for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Please keep rapturable! For in the name of my Lord, Jesus Christ, I have prayed. Amen.

God Does Not Reward False Charity

reward

Believer: You Have A Reward Is In Heaven

It is good to be good! Any active service that will render that glorifies God is recorded and celebrated in heaven. Christians must focus their efforts on activities that glorify God. Our efforts must not focus on receiving human’s praises and, and it must not be for any other selfish reason. God sees our efforts and he rewards us accordingly. He reciprocates our efforts with rewards so that we can be motivated to do more. Jesus Christ said;

“Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. (Matthew 6:2-4).

God Rewards Only True Services

God respects true worshippers, but he dishonors people pleasers! The Creator expects his children to give him honest services without self-seeking glorification and/or human praises. In addition, God’s children must not engage in false humility to gain the approval of others. We are expected to be pure before God and give him our best services as empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Creator will reciprocate our efforts with blessing so that we can be motivated to serve him more.

God blesses people who promote his kingdom and offer charity genuinely. However, the same cannot be said about pretenders. Those who do it for human praises and gratification are doomed. God doesn’t acknowledge and appreciate such behaviors. If you fit this description, change now, while you still can.

Pray to Focus on God’s Great Reward

Dear God, please help me to offer you my activities with holiness. Help me to offer selfless services to you. Do not let me serve to receive human praises, but let my activities be selfless to glory your Holy Name. Let my services be worthy of your blessing in this life and in heaven also. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

EXPECT TEMPTATIONS IF YOU ARE TO INHERIT GOD’S KINGDOM! – 1 Peter

ALWAYS CALL ON GOD FOR DECISION MAKING – 1 Samuel

call

Call God To Help You Make A Good Decision

It is very hard to make a sound judgment under pressure, but with God, all things are possible. God can guide us to make an appropriate decision under pressure if we call on him for help.

Despite the temptation a person may face making an irrational decision under pressure, he is still obliged to make a sound judgment that honors God.

God answers us when we call on him for help!

Someone in the Bible lost control of making a sound judgment when he was under pressure; he paid a dire consequence for it.

Let’s learn from King Saul in the Bible:

After he had committed several offenses to God, King Saul found himself between a rock and a hard place as he faced a much bigger problem. He was confronted with an army that was stronger than his troop.

Facing countless enemy soldiers with their sophisticated equipment, King Saul had no place to turn. In addition to his mystery, Saul’s spiritual adviser, Prophet Samuel, was nowhere to be found. He had delayed his coming to offer a customary sacrifice that must precede any war.

Enemies were advancing; Samuel was not forthcoming. Saul’s soldiers began to flee.

Since the pressure was mounting as a result of the enemies’ advances and Samuel missing in action for seven days already, King Saul was forced to make a decision. But, unfortunately, the choice did not favor him.

King Saul decided to perform Samuel’s duty. He offered a priest’s sacrifice.

Guess what, Samuel showed up immediately Saul had finished the sacrifice!

Despite any rational reasoning to validate Saul’s needful action at a crucial time, God was still displeased. Samuel said (on God’s behalf) to Saul:

“You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you. For now the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever. But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you” (1 Samuel 13:13-14).

God Is Always Ready To Answer Our Call

God is not far from us. He will be there to help us in times of need. But, children of God must be disciplined to wait on God at all times. Believers must not have any substitute for God. Our hearts must solely rely on God always!

A temptation is bound to come, but no temptation can take us beyond the limit of God’s grace. In other words, the grace of God is always sufficient for us!

God’s grace covers all things. It takes God’s grace and God’s favor to successfully overcome any temptation, especially when the pressure is mounting.

God will surely help his children that call on him for help. He will help us to make an appropriate decision when will need it.

Take-home lesson:

Learn how to call on God in every situation.

  • Consider that nothing is insignificant to pray about.
  • Don’t second-guess God,  believe he will answer your prayer.

Pray For Grace To Always Call On God

Dear God, please give me the grace to call upon you whenever I am confronted with a difficult situation. Guide me to make good and godly decisions when I am confused. Help me to follow your instructions, so that I can have an expected result. Let it be well with me always, and let Satan be ashamed over my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I have prayed. Amen.

STEADFAST CHRISTIANS WITHSTAND MANIPULATION – Philippians

steadfast

Evil May Reign In This World, But God Cares For The Steadfast!

(Passage: Philippians 3; Luke 23)

Temptations are bound to come your way as a child of God, but you must always remember that your steadfastness in God worths more than a million!

Satan is an enemy of righteousness; he will attempt to derail anyone who has determined to serve God. This enemy (Satan), who is bound for God’s punishment in hell, is always willing to take as many people as possible to his final destination (hellfire).

You and I don’t want to follow Satan to hell, so we must ensure to safeguard our salvation obtained in Jesus Christ carefully.

The enemy of God’s people has a history of manipulating anyone willing to give him attention. The bad guy will throw any stone he finds with the hope that one will stick. But, you have the willpower to make a choice not to become Satan’s victim.

Christians can be gravitated in faith and overcome Satan’s manipulation by learning from Jesus Christ. Satan tried everything he knew to make Jesus stumble and fail his mission, but the Son of God did not budge.

Believers must set their eyes on the mark of a higher calling. Just as the Scripture states,

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:12-14)

At the heat of his persecution, Satan prompted Pilate to present Jesus with an option to turn back from his life-saving mission.

No Rock Of Offense, Jesus Is Lord!

The fate of saving humanity through the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus’ life played out, but for the record, Pilate, who presided over his case, found nothing incriminating or deserving of death. He found the opponents’ arguments against Jesus unsubstantiated. But, Pilate still went ahead to satisfy the wish of the enemies.

Pilate engaged the chief priests and said,

“You have brought this Man to me, as one who misleads the people. And indeed, having examined Him in your presence, I have found no fault in this Man concerning those things of which you accuse Him; no, neither did Herod, for I sent you back to him; and indeed nothing deserving of death has been done by Him” (Luke 23:14-15).

Our Faith In God Should Be Steadfast Always

Know what you stand for as a Christian! As a child of God, you must be steadfast in God. You must not be afraid of Satan.

Children of God – Nothing should make us retreat from our commitments to God; we are required to remain steadfast and keep our faith to the end.

Christians must always remember that Christ has promised to earn us victory over all circumstances of life (John 16:33).

Pray To Be Steadfast In God

Dear Jesus Christ, please, I want to be a steadfast Christian! Help me to have a strong faith that put the devil on the run. Please give me the grace and strength to resist any temptation of the enemy. Let your Holy Spirit guide and lead me in all my ways so that I can remain your true child in every day of my life. Anoint me with your grace and prosper my life endeavors. For in the name of Jesus Christ I have prayed. Amen.

God Protects His Children

protection

Good Christians Must Realize That God’s Protection Is Always Present

Abraham feared for his life, and he asked Sarah his wife to call him a brother to confuse King Abimelech. The man thought Abimelech’s people might take his wife and kill him. However, Abraham, who thought he was smart to lie in an attempt to protect his identity had failed to realize that his God was able to protect him from all evils.

The story of Abraham’s irrational decision to hide his identity was reported;

“Now Abraham said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah. But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, “Indeed you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.” But Abimelech had not come near her; and he said, “Lord, will you slay a righteous nation also? Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister’? And she, even she herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and innocence of my hands, I have done this.” And God said to him in a dream, “Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart. For I also withheld you from sinning against me; therefore I did not let you touch her. Now therefore, restore the man’s wife; for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you shall live. But if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours” (Genesis 20:2-7).

God’s Mercies Never Cease

Christians must understand that our God is ever able to protect us from our enemies. No matter what situation comes our way, God will protect us, and he will also glorify himself. Therefore, instead of any believer entertaining doubt and/or seeking an ungodly alternative solution, he should exercise faith. He should remind himself of the promises of God that are listed in the bible to edify his faith.

The scripture states, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). God is well and able to take care of his children. He will rescue us in times of trouble, irrespective of the source and occurrence, and whether the mistakes come from us or others. God will still be God; he will come to the aid of his people to glorify himself. Hence, believers must rest assured in God always. We must make professions of faith with full expectations. God’s victory is sure over us, as “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

Life is full of hassles and sometimes, the road can be a little rough. Sometimes, we are faced with challenges that we cannot tell where they originated from. God wants us to remember that he is ready to defend us every time, because he loves us unconditionally.

Pray For Grace To Trust In God

Dear God, please teach me how to trust you during adversity. Help me to express my absolute trust in you always. Increase my faith to always profess a statement of faith during adversity. Give me the strength to declare “I know my God whom I serve, and he will deliver me from every lion and every Goliath of life.” Please turn my tough situation around to become my testimony so that unbelievers can hear it and tremble. Let my faith remain firm in you so that I can continue to declare your testimony of goodness in the land of the living. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.

GOD CREATED US FOR A PURPOSE – Matthew

value

Live Your Life With A Purpose!

(Passage: Matthew 1)

We are here on earth for a specific purpose to achieve. We don’t have the same purpose since God created everyone distinctly special. Therefore our grace and talents are different. However, no matter what our individual purposes maybe, we still share three common ones, which are to love God, serve God, and love other people.

You are born with a purpose, live up to it!

While we can explain our purposes differently, our common and major purpose remains to serve God with all our hearts!

How well are you fulfilling your purpose?

Let’s learn from Jesus how he fulfilled his purpose on earth. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was not just another child born by two parents. He was born of God! God commissioned him from heaven to proclaim his kingdom and save humanity.

Jesus’s life from birth was all about his purpose!

The birth story of Jesus Christ was completely different from any other human being. Mary, his mother did not conceive him out of a relationship with any man. She was conceived by the Holy Spirit. That is, the presence of God descended on Mary and he was found pregnant with a child to be born as Jesus Christ.

The remembrance of Jesus birth

A virgin gave birth to a miracle child and was called Jesus. This is the Bible’s account of the event.

“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother, Mary, was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:18-21).

A miracle child lived up to his purpose.

Jesus, the miracle child grew in grace, strength, and power to fulfill his purpose. The scriptures stated,

“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52 NIV).

The primary mission of Jesus was to save the world. He grew in stature and advanced in age with that purpose in mind.

Jesus had his mission in mind – He must save humanity

Jesus lived a simple life. He came close to common people and preached the kingdom of God to them.

A purposeful Jesus did not only preach, but he showed love. He fed the poor and performed signs and wonders to solve people’s problems.

With the primary goal of his mission in mind, Jesus cast out evil spirits, cleaned up the temple, and spoke God’s word to his reluctant audience.

The fate of his life materialized as the enemies lied and accused Jesus of wrongdoing. They abused and killed him. But all for the benefit of accomplishing the goal of saving humanity.

Since Jesus died and resurrected for our sake, whosoever confesses him as his or her personal Lord and Savior will be saved.

Here comes the authority of Jesus’s life purpose:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16 ESV).

The salvation of Jesus Christ applies to everyone who will confess him as his or her personal Lord and Savior.

Whether you are a Christian or not, you must confess Jesus as Lord to be saved.

Pray To Live Up To Your Purpose

Dear Jesus Christ, I understand that the main purpose of my existence is to love and serve you! I must confess my faith in your Son Jesus Christ to be saved; therefore, I declare today that I accept your Son Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.

From now on, my complete life shall be dedicated to loving Jesus and serving you from the bottom of my heart. So help me God! Please count me worthy to be raptured on the last day. For I have prayed in your Son’s name Jesus Christ, Amen!

GOD’S WORK SHOULD BE YOUR TOP PRIORITY – Matthew

priority

Put God First To Make Your Blessing His Priority

(Passage: Matthew 22)

God will bless us if we can make the choice to prioritize his work. Blessings await you if you are committed to his service.

Do we have life pressure that can make serving God become the secondary focus? Absolutely. With pressure here and there, anyone would choose to prioritize other things than making God his topmost priority. But, none of those pressure can actually bail us out of our situations. Only God can. Only him blesses also!

Jesus Christ encouraged people to set things of God as their priority. God comes first, then ours become secondary.

When our hearts are far from God, we glue to the cares of the world. This, of course, is not good since it leads to the loss of blessings en route.

How can we understand when we are digressing from the goal of setting God as the priority of our lives? Jesus explained this with an illustration of one rich man in the Bible who was generous to his friends, but they took him for granted.

Jesus said;

“The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.”’ But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests” (Matthew 22:1-9).

Prioritizing Worldly Cares Can Make You Lose

Humans will always have needs. So, we can’t let those needs rule our world. We must choose to prioritize serving God. Above all needs, we must let the things of the Lord captivate our minds.

No joke with God. He expects us (his people) to handle all matters that are related to his kingdom seriously.

God wants people to put him first in their lives, and serve him well.

God wants us to rely on him so that he can handle our situations for us.

If you take care of God’s business, he will take care of yours.

This is no gimmick: Try to put God first in your life and see what happens after that!

Someone who has not prioritized the need to put God first in his life is more or less an idol worshipper. Remember the Ten Commandment? (Exodus 20). Those that made the top on the list are:

  • I am the Lord thy God
  • Thou shalt have no other gods before me
  • Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image

No other way of stating the obvious: People who do not prioritize serving God will lose some benefits!

Let’s make life simple for ourselves. Let’s allow God to run the show for us by making him the first in our lives.

Prioritize servicing the Lord, and you won’t regret it.

Remember:

The Creator promised to bless us if we give one hundred percent attention to him and his courses. Jehovah will not honor people who prioritize the cares of the world above him.

Pray For The Strength To Set God As Priority

Dear God, I know you want me to put you first in my life. I am sorry for allowing the cares of the world to engulf my life. From now on, I will set you a priority in my life. I will serve and obey you. I will support your courses and promote your name. Please bless me as I make the effort to make you the best of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my request. Amen.

JESUS CHRIST PREACHED TRUE LOVE – Luke

true love

Nothing Carries More Weight Than True Love

(Passage: Luke 23)

If love and hatred are compared, love wins. True love, nothing like it! It is more special to God than anything else.

God has a true love for us (humanity) and sent us his only Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins. Jesus also came here to do everything in pure love.

Since love is so important to God, you and I must understand we will never meet the threshold of becoming a true child of God without loving God and loving others.

No greater law than the requirement that we must love God with all our hearts and might. And that we must also be gracious and love other people as ourselves.

Here are these two questions you should answer:

  1. Are you a child of God?
  2. Do you have a true love for others?

Your answer must be “Yes” to those two questions to meet the requirement set by God for you to qualify for God’s kingdom. In other words, God won’t welcome you to heaven if you are not a child of God, and if you don’t truly love others at the same time.

Let’s learn from Jesus, who demonstrated what it takes to show perfect love to others.

God sent him (Jesus) to save humanity from sin. The task wasn’t easy for the Son of God because he had to deal with a difficult species.

Jesus came and preached peace and love to the people of the world. He helped the poor and did many other good things. But, people abused him.

They resented and mocked him.

People persecuted Jesus and wished him dead. (They got that in the end).

Despite the hostility that Christ faced, he was determined to have a genuine love for the people.

Christ loved everyone, regardless of whether they appreciate him or not.

No Rivalry For Genuine Love

True love drove Jesus to focus on his mission to save humanity. He finished his task!

As a child of God, you are better off when you allow love to motivate you in performing your task.

Learn from Jesus Christ, who truly loved difficult people in difficult situations.

Jesus, the Son of God, responded with love when people he came to save hated him.

When they persecuted Jesus and dragged him to the cross, he ensured to include in his final words:

“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” (Luke 23:34).

Don’t forget it won’t be easy to show true love, but you must do as God required.

See what people did to Jesus, as he chose to let love rule:

  1. People and their rulers said, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if he is the Christ, the chosen of God” (Luke 23:35).
  2. The soldiers mocked him and gave him vinegar to drink (Luke 23: 36).
  3. The soldiers mocked him and said, “If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself” (Luke 23: 37).
  4. His accusation was written on his cross for all people to mock with “THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS” (Luke 23: 38).
  5. Jesus was nailed to the cross alongside two convicted criminals (Luke 23: 39).
  6. One of the criminals mocked Jesus and said, “If you are the Christ, save yourself and us” (Luke 23: 39).
  7. Jesus cried in pain, and no one helped him; he eventually died on the cross.

Consider the characteristic of Jesus Christ, as he demonstrated true love to others:

  1. Jesus preached God’s kingdom, irrespective of any surrounding circumstance.
  2. Despite constant terror and persecutions, Jesus remained positive, and he continued to do good for people.
  3. Jesus fed the poor, raised the dead, and healed numerous diseases.
  4. (Yeah, the list of the good things that Jesus did for others is endless, but people still persecuted and killed him. But he loved his enemies.)

True Love Has a Consequence

You can’t love and be at a loss. It’s impossible!

Love rules at all times. Even when you consider it’s a loss, re-evaluate the situation, you will discover that love has won.

Consider this:

Christ’s death has become our gain. We die to sin through his death, and true his resurrection, we resurrect to godliness and qualify for heaven.

Pray For Salvation

Dear God, I am grateful that Jesus chose love instead of hatred. I thank Jesus for enduring all things for the sake of saving poor sinners like me. What more can I do than to appreciate what Christ has done for me! Therefore, I confess my faith in Jesus Christ. I believe he is the Son of God, and I accept him as my personal Lord and Savior. From now on, I am a child of God. Glory to God in the highest! Amen.

RAPTURE IS IMMINENT – BE PREPARED! – Luke

rapture

If Rapture Is True, What Is Your Stake?

(Passage: Luke 21)

The proclamation that Rapture will occur may sound like an old story, but brace yourself, it will happen!

(Rapture means the second coming of Jesus Christ to transport believers to heaven).

It takes “Faith in Jesus Christ” to qualify for the rapture. That is, a person must first confess Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord and Savior to qualify for the rapture.

If rapture will help, when will that be?

According to the Bible, no one will know the day or time that Jesus Christ will return from heaven to transport his disciples home. No one will know the time – not even the angels know, except God alone. (Matthew 24:36).

Only God, the Father of all, knows the time that his Son Jesus will return to transport the believers to his kingdom.

A person who’s in Christ can’t relax, for now!

Believers in Jesus Christ are waiting for the return of the Lord. We must prepare and get ourselves ready. The Bible requires believers to make every effort to live peacefully, pure, and blameless in the sight of the Lord to qualify for heaven.

It is written,

“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36).

Non-Christians Have An Option

People who have not confessed their faith in Jesus Christ have the choice to confess him and be saved.

There’s No Substitute For God’s Salvation Offer

The world is busy with various activities, and it is easy for anyone to get caught up, but a person who cares to think about what happens in life after death would not drop his guard.

Indeed, there are challenges that people must face on daily basis: Bills must be paid, and other life pressure exist; however, children of God must prioritize obeying God and living up to his standard.

Christians must be careful not to allow anything to affect our relationship with God.

Rapture is the reason for believers to stay alert! Whether this world likes it or not, Jesus Christ will return to rapture his saints to God’s kingdom. We must be prepared to go with him!

Anyone who misses the rapture won’t find it interesting, since the grace of God won’t be available to help anyone. Satan would seize every opportunity to carry out his evil works against those who miss the rapture.

Imagine: A scene devoid of God’s presence won’t be nice for people who miss the rapture. The best a person can do is to confess Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior before it is too late.

Proclaim The Holiness Of Jesus Christ

Dear God, I understand this vanity world will soon come to an end. You will send your Son Jesus Christ to harvest the Christians to your kingdom. Please count me worthy! Count me among the people who will be raptured to your kingdom on the last day. I know it takes the confession of faith in Jesus Christ to be saved; therefore, I confess Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I confess and repent from my sins also. Please write my name in the book of life! For in the name of Jesus Christ I have prayed. Amen.
